#Control scheme presets

you can quickly change preset layouts by resetting controls in settings menu
thank you for the information. That is not intuitive and should be looked at again
yeah it took me a few minutes to find it the first time
how do you figure it could be made more intuitive?
have the first-time setup say that you can change the preset later by resetting controls
i think an easy way for you to more adequatly try them out is providence trials
resetting the controls showed the prompt? wow never knew
yeah id say you should do this
and/or descriptor text showing that detail when your hover over the reset controls
it honestly feels really intuitive and obvious to me? like i cant imagine how the confusion manages to exist
but adding " you can change it later in the menu " is pretty free, and also what a lot of games do anyway
to me i thought it was saying that you can edit the buttons yourself later on
not that you can choose a preset again
oh i get it
instead of " reset controls to default ", i'd display it as " reset controls to classic / modern / ror2 "
yea that'd work at least
like separate buttons
hm I think it'd be better as a dropdown?
like reset controls to... and the buttons under it are the preset names
i think its more effective if you have classic/modern/ror2 explicitly shown
"choose other preset"
yeah or that, like " select presets "
well dropdown would be more neatly looking but tbh any method is fine as long as it works
that aside, suggestion for useless misc aesthetic detail : would be cool if the input device image on the right highlighted keys that had stuff assigned to them perhaps
"Reset controls to a preset" imo
yeah thats better
