Also, 99.9% of roguelikes aren't even roguelikes. To be a roguelike you have to not have any semblance of meta progression, the majority fall into the category of a roguelite.

Even something like nullscape is a roguelite because you still have to spend time to unlock the various classes, even if runs remain basically the same.

The 2 characters basically take opposite items from one another, with the only major overlap being mobility items (engie needs it more, and loader is already super fast so it's not the end of the world), generic damage ups like watches and stuff, and run of the mill healing items but engie can survive without a lot of it because of how much better he utilizes trash healing items.
