I want a reroll option (or at the very least an increased spread on higher dlc) on Newt Stage Selections.

Back in the base game, if you wanted a given stage, you basically had 2 options with a smaller chance of gilded coast. Perfectly fine, solid chance are after Aurellionite that you were getting Abandoned Aquaduct instead of Wetland Aspect anyway.

But with as many stages as there are now, there are so many options between stages that if I'm feeling partial to one over any of the others (I have thought to myself "hey, I'm in the mood for Sundered Grove" or something along those liens on many occasions) I now have to contend with the every shrinking chance of that stage showing up in the Newt shop, let alone it being selected across several options.

I’ve done like 10 runs (4 of which I didn’t know how to play and died immediately) and I really like the shotgun guy and second is the bow person I never played as the starting guy bc my only knowledge of this game before I bought it was a joke made by a streamer that no body likes the regular guy

He has the slowest acceleration and doesn´t have the fastes moving speed but he´s very fun to me! His movement skill helps a lot with the feeling of slowness and he´s very fun to use with his primaries. As you unlock more of them you´ll be able to mix and match to your preferences and it feels good to have such a customizable character

It sucks

for me they´re too similar. Giving them a common thread so that the player can tell they´re from the same faction is one thing. But look at how everybody else does it! The void enemies all have the deep sea abyss theme so they can all be wildly distinct with a common thread that´s easy to see from afar. That´s the thing, maybe the solus family is distinct from one another but they all have to do it in such subtle ways for the most part that it´s objectively not as good a character design because the point is for these guys to be easily distinguishable and identifiable when they´re coming at you in swarms

at least solus control unit and alloy worship unit have a reason to be borderline copies but they still could´ve made them different from one another which makes it look like it´s more of a character design philosophy issue with the solus family as a whole than a thing of the dlc specifically. The solus extractors are literally just the generic ass ball but with tentacles behind it which i don´t find to be a good enough distinction because of the execution of it. Solus Wing is just an alloy worship unit with weak spots and a mechanical wing but at least it has the advantage of sheer size. Solus distributor is an actual rectangle so it´s fine and i guess it´s not the worst that the little drones it sends out are just spheres because that´s their function and they´re also the smallest of the family so you can tell them apart that way. Solus transporters are super basic and don´t have immediately distinctive features, just a slightly different configuration that is too subtle to tell mid game, i actually really like the solus invalidators but i feel like they needed a little push to be a perfectly good design. Scorchers are mildly better but it´s still a pretty conservative design, prospectors have the advantage of actually having visible equipment that helps give them a more unique silhouette so i believe them to be the best ones. SPEX being the way it is is fine actually it´s not really an enemy. Solus Amalgamators are pretty cool, i like the multiple eyes angle but in the end their silhouette still isn´t distinct enough.

Eclipse works best with the base game because it contains the simplest enemies and even still, AWU is probably the messiest enemy in eclipse with just the base game

ive also found its smarter to go after solus wing through crater or sirens call bc you dont have to deal with conduit canyon and how long that can take
