I have a thought that, in general, it might be possible to make a game in 4 dimensions. Just make the immersion in this world stronger. So that the time spent in it could really affect the game, not just as an unlocked pool of items. But more global things like their rotations, depending on what you do during a run. For example, if you accepted the AI's conditions and uploaded yourself to the network, then in the next run the enemies would be 'bugged,' and among the items you'd find fragments of code. Or, say you defeated the fallen son, and now meteorites would fall from the moon during the run, and 'lunar experiments' would be conducted on the floors, as in the logs. And if they released a roguelike with much deeper immersion, which would give me variety in return for the time spent in it (lunar items from the beta itself stopped fulfilling this role), I would buy that game, what about you?
