Very poor way of executing it honestly, Viend might be among my least favorite characters to play just because they kinda sold with his specials and his passive is a bit annoying to play with imo (also the forced cutscene when corrupting is icky)

rex's entire gimmick is having the most fluid healthbar known to man tbf, whereas viend just randomly has "heal 25% max hp" on a button

-the default one is great and wonderful because dark blue is my favourite colour, that whole navy blue black grey colour scheme fits in very well with captain and has him looking almost maritime themed, like sort of leaning into that seafarer aspect, oh also the visor led stands out a lot because of the contrast and matches the colours of his microbots
-the mastery skin is.. i think it stands out too much against the stages in risk of rain, it doesn't look captain more like.. lab coat, which doesn't have to be a bad thing, it's just not my vibe, i'm a huge fan of the calm blue colour of the led though!
-the colonel one at first i didn't like too much, but after accidentally choosing it once i've grown very fond of it, the whole rustic and ragged looking stuff and the little cape, it fits the vibe, also a fan of the changed symbol of the led
-private, first of all i wanna say how great it is that they kept the ranks naming scheme of his skins and found a way to still make it fit the alloyed collective theme, and also, i'm a big fan of the particle effect that skin has, i also like that it tells us that captain would take the offer of the collective, that's a scrap of characterisation i'll take, the colours are neat they remind me of aethermancer (that's where my pfp is from btw), and the probably greatest thing is that he's matching with bandit (oh and technically some other characters too but sshh.. captandit real..)
bottom line? my favourite skin is the default skin, it's blue and iconic captain, but i like rotating through skins every now and then
