Pools dont reroll, they either give you all irradiant or none at all

I've been playing RoR2 for a while and get now can to the point where I get a good Monsoon run going.
But just like lower difficulties, in my second loop I hit a wall where I just get melted in either "one shot" or a few shots in quick succession by a particular enemy.
I understand the importance of mobility but I do not like this aspect of the game design. It feels like an artificial ceiling.

just know what enemies can one shot you (stone golems, bosses, elder lemurians etc)

Okey, there is a bug on console where sometimes when you finish a run it doesn't save your progress, the way to prevent it is: once you or your friend finnish a run go back to the main menu of the game and it will save all your progress, make sure doing this before closing the game.

Well it depends on the person and if you're talking about items then it's smarter to get certain items that can help with your build
Like for example with bandit you want a critical type of build your main focus is to one shot things and with Mult you want your attack speed super high with a decent amount of damage

it helps to know which items are good and which are bad so you can use printers and scrappers to your advantage (combined with the lunar bazaar and commencement cauldrons) so then you get to somewhat choose which items you want (this applies to multishop terminals too, obviously)
