I’ve had a few different instances

A few times in multiplayer, the dio did not work; note that it was unused. After dying I did not come back until my friend got to the next stage.

There was also, another instance where when I had a good run with a few loops (and lots of great items; borderline god run) as commando, I had died and was resurrected from the dio on the moon but none of my proc items worked anymore

You can only be online with one other console basically. The only way to exceed 2 players is to have another local player per console. So although there’s 4 player slots, it’s really 2 local players from 2 consoles playing together online. (At least from what I remember). But yeah sadly you can’t play with more than 1 person online without any local players

Has anyone run into a bug on ps4/ps5 that when you encounter a scavenger past the first loop on monsoon seemingly 90 percent of the enemies don't take dmg? And all items don't seem to work either? Unless that's somehow something new that I missed lol

It’s cause pc and console work completely different

And require different software

And also it’s usually because the people who make the pc version don’t know how to make it for each console and so different people do it and because it’s a different studio things can be slow with porting

Or the people porting can be incompetent (gearbox)

It takes a while because the code for console it very different than the one on pc. They’re also remaking the console version so it’s closer to the pc version so that’s why it’ll be quite long

PS4(or any console, for that matter) uses completely different software then PC; therefore, changes must be made in order to make it playable on PS4(or, yet again, any other console), as if you simply took the update from PC and applied it to PS4(console), things would turn to chaos (as the PS4(console) would probably accept some things but reject other things). Also, the reason that people are able to release console updates AND PC updates is because they have larger teams. The team making risk of rain 2's DLC isn't exactly triple A size, so they need time to fix it for consoles.

I used PS4 as an example but decided that it seemed like I made PS4 look like only it had those issues, and pretty much every console has different software from each other, so i edited it lmao
