Idk if it's a bug or if I'm just incredibly unlucky, but I've gone into dozens of runs over the last week or so trying to find the log entries specifically for Wetland Aspect, Treeborn Colony, & Repurposed Crater. I've gone to each stage at least 5 times and not ONCE has a radar tower spawned for any of them. I'm even playing with Swarms enabled to so they'd have a higher chance to spawn.

Guys sense ps4 is gonna stop getting updates I decided to just get a job and save for the ps5

(Should have put this first so I am adding it with an edit) I used artifact of command and artifact of sacrifice.

Gloobo Jr was a big help when I did it. Also you can just grapple and stand on the top and beat the weak spots. You'll need to be able to tank a bit.

With the mega lasers, use the circuits around the map to dodge or just fall off the back of it and make it spin 180 to try to catch up, usually the laser ends before it gets back to you

This was all in one run without looping.

local co-op is going to have less lag for joining players than online would, but if you're playing online with someone in the same country, it shouldn't be a big deal in the first place

Outside of crashing on runs ≈ 2 hours long (occasionally shorter runs but that is rate) the Switch has always done well for me. Think I'd just stop playing if my save got wiped or something like the stories I have seen on other platforms

4 Paddles should become standard on all controllers.

Its been awhile since controllers added inputs but playing with paddles is a game changer.

Id even settle for just 2, most of my controllers have 4 but even the switch 2 charging grip with the 2 paddles is wayyyyy better than without

Especially like how you can program them mid game like on steam deck unlike with the xbox elite where its a whole process

Ror2 is the type of game where you have thousands of people playing but if you open the server browser you find like 4 Chinese servers and that’s about it

Playing with randoms is horrible because they hog all items and you end up underpowered when the difficulty scales up

Mhm. I've found this game to be no different than most team based stuff in this style. I played exactly one game of Halo with a childhood friend of mine. His go to move at the very start of a campaign mission was to hit me in the back of my head and take all my ammo, forcing me to spawn back in with just a plasma pistol. I hated multiplayer games that let you screw over people ever since, lol

Sounds like your friends are the issue. I have played Halo almost since the launch of CE and never had that issue.

I get the sentiment but the issue isn't team damage in the game, its that your friends are willing to screw you over for their gain

Yes, that's what I was getting at. I didn't have a choice on who to hang out with as a child, I just had to deal with him. My friends in my adult life are lovely. Random people are the problem, my level of control over that aspect is just not to play.

Xbox, theres a frequent bug going around for us console players on PS and Xbox where, you just cant get artificer.

The prompt doesn’t show up, not in multiplayer, not alone, not after deleting and reinstalling the game, not offline, not online.

Having the money isn’t the issue either lol.

I’ve encountered 6+ people and myself. Its actually the only thing denying my 100%

the only working solution is to data delete

Not entirely sure how to force this but when my save states (one on my current Xbox and one on the cloud) didn't match, it would ask me to select which one I wanted to start the game with.

But once you choose the current Xbox, I think that then gets pushed to the cloud.

So if you did that already, your save data from the cloud is probably overwritten

If you are asking why I enjoy playing with him, I can say that it is part of my extremely specific preference for characters that can transition from a weaponless, quick form to a slow, rapid fire one.
Such as Overwatch's Wrecking Ball, Garden Warfare 2's Citron, Go! Mecha Ball's Rascal...

I personally only enjoy Engineer's high damage output once he has items but beginning the game as engie is nothing but PRAYER. My enjoyment of Engie also comes from an enjoyment of 'summoners' in games overall. But my desire for damage and mobility outweigh it, hence Railgunner and Operator.

I find scrapping monster tooth, ghor's tome, and bandolier to be particularly helpful for mitigating lag

As well as deskplant

Considering the switch (particularly og) struggles a good amount more with late loop runs, those items can really fuck with performance

Even some dps items like molt perf or atg can be detrimental if you have insane proc rates for similar reasons

Pretty much the throughline is try not picking up or just try scrapping items that provide effects that involve physics objects in some way to not lag loop runs as badly

Its still gonna be a minefield of lag and crashes regardless BUT it'll lessen the chances

It's more the physics objects stuff and extreme visual effects stuff lag ya, especially when it's easily spammable

(Deskplant has extreme effects that lag the fuck out of even switch 2 basically the moment you pick it up since you can kill many enemies, thus spawning more)

There is a mod I found that solves my issues with him. It adds a replacement for the primary, which is some sort of spray laser, and adds an alternative for the bubble shield, which is a sprint/jet propulsion that does damage/spreads enemies. The main fire doesn't feel like shit to use and the rush discourages you from staying in one place on the map.

Engi's thing is that you are the maestro for your AI buddies' orchestra.

Something like antlers, squid turret, or plasma shrimp for example may seem similar but they're less egregious to lagging the game since they are either close to insta use or don't have as significant spammability as the laggy items

But unlike other Engineer characters, such as Torbjörn, BFN's Engi and TF2's Engi, he is more hard focused on that idea.

And, I'm sorry, but I like doing things myself when I'm playing a video game.

Most of the time, for me, playing Engi demands too much effort to reach the point in which you can make no efforts.
