there's an inconsistency on switch version where when using ascent protocol as Operator, it will not consider you always sprinting making your movement much slower if you don't manually start sprinting during it, and when you activate it again, it also does not consider you sprinting make you activate sprint again after that. It doesn't always happen but it's very common and there is no known correlation to me as to what causes it.
Also, Lieutenant Drone Boy's ADMIN OVERRIDE goes like half the distance it's supposed to... PC version works fine.

I'm experiencing a gamebreaking bug that I think is being caused by the junk drone. At least I only ever notice this issue whenever I repair one.

The junk drone is making my items disappear that I get from other sources (like chests or bosses).

The timer that was applied to that temp item was suddenly applied to like... 3-4 other items as soon as I picked it up. Items I had before a junk drone was ever repaired. My second run I paid very close attention.

Not 100% certain it was caused by the junk drone, but I'm almost positive it was. It could simply have a buggy interaction with one of the 3 artifacts I was running at the time, likely the choose your items one.

The first time it happened, I was confused what was happening. Me and my roommate where thinking that maybe there was a shrine or some new mechanic added to the game that made certain items just temporary in general cause we were pretty deep into our run before I caught this.

The 2nd run, as soon as I saw a junk drone, I made sure to keep an eye on my inventory throughout the process and noticed the timer transfer to several other items the moment I picked what the junk drone had spit out.

but if you wanna try and recreate it. I was playing with 3 artifacts and with a friend. The artifacts I was using where the ones that let you choose your items, doubles monster spawns but with less health, and the SotS one that lets you transfer a single item over to future runs or a random one if nothing is slotted.

difficulty doesn't matter as I had this happen on normal and easy, and character doesn't matter as we played with the monk, engineer, huntress, and loader. Not sure if having another person in your lobby matters either.

I'm thinking it might have been those dispensers that make 5 of the same item, but temporary. I don't remember it saying the items it spat out were temporary, but that might've been the issue on the first run.

However, the second run I had, there were none of those dispensers present on the 1st stage and I made absolutely sure none of my items had any sort of timer before repairing the junk drone. It wasn't until after grabbing the item from the junk drone that other items that didn't have a timer before, suddenly had a timer ontop of the item dispensed by the junk drone.

Basically, I can't confirm if the first time I came across this was either user error or a bug as either are likely. However, I can absolutely confirm that the second time was a bug and not user error.

I played some more yesterday night before bed, but forgot to get a junk drone to test for this bug again and by the time I remembered, I was at the final stage and didn't want to risk it when at the end.

The main thing is that most of its attacks can be destroyed, if there are little white balls on the platforms, if you don’t destroy those the platforms will get destroyed

Sometimes your moves get disabled and I have no clue what does it

Not sure if there are graphic issues on switch because I’m a stinky Xbox player

But I’ve beaten it on false son and loader and the main thing is just to slowly whittle it down while dodging when its invincible

But yeah it sucks

That's a good point. But honestly, the two map rotation extensions are enough for me to still thoroughly enjoy it portably on Switch 1. I don't even want Switch 2 because I have a ps5 and have not seen one reason to get the 2.

I love my Switch 2 and definitely think it was well worth the upgrade. Kirby AirRiders alone was reason enough for me to get the system.

And people really get too upset on the price. For what it can do it is fairly priced. People wanted an absolute steal at $400 and when it was $450 they got upset they would have to pay a fair price for the system.

Either way, I don't want to start over. I love RoR and having to spend dozens of hours just to unlock everything again would suck.

Also all of my friends who have it, have it on the Switch/Switch 2 because thats the secondary console we all have.

None of them have an Xbox so I wouldn't have anyone to play with even if I did get it there.

I just don't understand abandoning what is likely to become the best selling game console of all time.

Oh I couldn't care less. Switch 2 is meh to me. I got my 1 for portability and relative smooth experience, and ps5 for games that need that extra power like Elden Ring Nightreign or Helldivers.

And what's tragic about the Switch 2 for me, is that it took far too long to cook so it was born outdated and besides Nintendo crappy exclusives its getting games I already got to play and get tired of for 8 years.
