On xbox is it just me or the drones are a little slow? Droneboy has a very short range bombing run compared to gameplay I've seen. And my bombardment and jailer drones tend to roll on the ground when I'm playing operator. I don't think it's intended behavior

Can I just say that operator is everything I've ever wanted out of engineer

Engie is a turret character with god awful capabilities of killing enemies and defending himself without his turrets aiding him. He may be one of the best survivors in the game but when pushing the difficulty with artifacts, your turrets start dying really quickly and things get extremely tricky because of how weak you the engineer are.

Operator is a turret character that still acts very similarly to a regular character. His turrets (drones) may also be his entire kit, but most of the power of those drones comes from his own abilities, and they die significantly less than engies turrets.

Also, operator just has really insane mobility and I like it.

the halycon shrine takes up a lot of stage credits, by not doing it, you are missing out on a lot of items on the stage itself, by having the seekers of the storm expansion on, it is essentially taking 3 chests of items and putting it in the shrine

You get them on the abandoned aqua-duct stage by weighing down 2 buttons which will open and entrance where yo will fight two enimies that will drop the fire band and ice band, once you do thay you will unlock them I your runs
These items are some of the best damaging items in the game so you should unlock them ASAP

There's one thing I'm missing, though, i wish the devs could implement adaptive trigger support for Dualsense controller on PS5 (with an option to disable for those that don't enjoy using it). Framerate is good, for the most part. I did experience some framerate drops in one of my runs but it was because there was so much things going on at the same time, but for the most part performance is quite stable. Can't say anything about the new stages + new bosses because i haven't meet them yet

Yeah, the game is overall quite stable on PS5, more than my PC which is weaker than my PS5. Never had any issues with it. When you're looping, though, performance will eventually suffer from framerate drops but that's expected from any hardware, really, even PC. Too many enemies + a lot of IA + particles everywhere... but it takes a while for that to happen

Anyway, I'm going back to my run now lol

legendary chests are reserved for stage 4 onward, most (if not all) stage 4 have a guaranteed semi-hidden legendary chest, otherwise they have a really low chance of appearing in a normal spot, where it also applies the rule that is has to be stage 4+

I’ve been playing the ps4 for a long time so I have quite the amount of info, I play on a ps4 slim, which is worse than a pro so if you have one you’ll get better results. I wanna make clear that when I opened and cleaned my ps4 (for dust buildup and other related things) it performed MUCH better. When seeing the performance across time, it was pretty bad but the optimizations have done pretty well, that being said, I notice a drastic change when DLCs are active, without DLC it performs surprisingly well even on looped runs, however with the size of expansions and enemies, the fps drops can be felt on larger stages and unstable performance the more the game goes on, It’s playable but nowhere near a PC, stage 1-3 are fine but further it gets a little bit laggy and caps at 45 fps aprox. ^^ thats my experience, note that I live in a relatively hot area so the cooling could be better!!

It doesn't save the dlc licenses

It has to download them everytime it starts

Well honestly I don't know what to say then, all I know is it happen to my friend when they tandomly gain artifact and that's what cause there bug for now apparently, so maybe you didn't pay attention ? Or you already have all artifacts unlocked, or the bug come from something else and we just have to wait to see 😭

Thanks! I just finished a run and checked my artifacts, everything was normal. Closed the game and logged back in and everything I obtained in the run was still there so thankfully no lost progress this time. I’m assuming it won’t magically disappear next time I log in later.

Mmh I see, maybe I'm imagining things but I really thinks the lost in progress is caused by the artifacts bug, my gf is actually playing the game and it's been 2 game without artifacts bug and she still has everything

One thing I noticed was that this run had no stutters when teleporting to the next stage. The run I had before I lost my stuff, the game would freeze for a good few seconds when teleporting, especially on the new stages

The ps5 doesn’t crash but has this funny bug where it may delete your progress from the previous runs, apparently has to do with an artifact being unlocked when you didn’t unlock it. I’m not too sure, I wasn’t paying attention and didn’t notice, but I lost a chunk of my progress in the dlc

If you just delete run reports from the ps4 version, you won't lose progress, just info on past runs
