Tbch I don't think I run into even half of the actual console bugs that most people say they're running into. I almost never get disconnected from multiplayer when I do play it, and all of the characters & items seem to be working just fine. Only thing really "glitchy" that I notice is sometimes when it's really chaotic, Huntress' Strafe primary bugs out and it's projectiles become invisible. I'm not entirely sure if the shots don't register because of this either or not tho

Yuh the only glitch’s I’ve experienced are monster going through walls, stone titan dying but body stays on the map, luminous shot not working on seekers fist, and merc and cap getting stuck in one animation

Most console bugs are gone since gearbox decided it would be a good idea to ''unify'' both ror2 version which lead to most console bugs appearing in pc but gearbox did still patch most bugs. It was a lot rougher when the devotion update launched.

Hello I'm new to the game and I'm wondering how you unlock the Mercenary and Loader characters

For mercenary you have to get to stage 8 via looping which is something you can do on stage 5 by interacting with the stone stuff around the teleporter, you will be placed back in a stage 1 map but you'll keep ur items and stuff (it's like a victory lap in the binding of Issac if you've played that) then you've gotta progress to stage 3 and when you beat the teleporter a cyan portal called the "celestial portal" will spawn going through that will take you to "A moment whole" which will have this big pillar that you have to obliterate yourself at which ends ur run and unlocks him I'm pretty sure

Then for loader you have to get to the stage 4 sirens call and destroy some blue eggs til this big drone spawns in, it's pretty tanky so be careful. Killing the big drone will spawn a legendary item and you'll unlock loader

I did pillars skip with loader and didn't realized that my friend would also have to be able to do it for us to skip the pillars so I ended up having to try and solo mythrix while under 9 tonic afflictions (I had fuel cells so I could use the tonic more to mitigate the affliction hoping they would weaken mythrix when my items were stolen)

I thought for the longest time since i picked up a switch 2 that the switch version was capped at 30fps and was really buggy so i didn’t buy it turns out after buying ror2 for a third time it actually runs insanely well on switch 2

There’s no specific switch 2 edition like the series x or ps5 versions yet so ur still stuck at a lower res in portable mode but the framerate and all around stability is leagues ahead of playing it on a regular switch

Should i go install and boot up ror2 on my launch year switch that was lagging trying to boot up spelunky once

Artifacts are permanent but I wouldn't call them upgrades, you can toggle them off and on to modify a run in a different way for each artifact so I hope that answered your question and im glad your having fun with the game!

• learn expose tech
• learn base level macro
• making a build
• damage multiplication

Expose tech is when you time an ability with the third swing of your primary, such as a dash, this keeps the hitbox active and lets you give expose to every enemy you hit with your dash

though this can be done with your other abilities as well

Basic macro is things like

• watching out for useful printers, such as speed, damage and utility
• using scrappers to turn bad items into good ones
• using soup on the moon and in the bazaar

this one is simple, an ATG is more useful than a berzerkers pauldron, and you can safely scrap a pauldron without it affecting your build too much

and a goat hoof is more useful than a topaz brooch

a good printer can save a run

Okay on making a build
it's important to have balance in your build to make sure all your bases are covered, if you have a bunch of damage but no defense or speed you will most likely die
think of it as a cross, with damage, mobility, defense and healing

if you have too much of one its better to spread out

items like tougher times are great

• medkits and bustling fungus are not good, but useful in a pinch

The perfomance will be dissapointing compared to switch 2 and pc. Also there is currently some kind of bug on the switch version that randomly crashes the game when you start looping. So unless you really want it i recommend just sticking to what you currenlty have.

So tested it a moment ago,
Unfortunately the method above is unavailable as the PS4 version can get manually saved, but cannot be manually downloaded into the PS5 version. Instead, what I did was I deleted the cloud and console data for the PS5 version as well as the game. After redownloading it the game automatically used the servers to update by using any data it had for me which was my PS4 version. As a result, it transferred everything properly this time to the PS5 version

Might be aim assist? It slows it down when you look at an enemy and if there's several it slows it down even more iirc
