5 less damage may sound weak but with debuffs like burn and bleed that do little ticks of damage over a period of time, that damage negation becomes very potent

This channel existed thanks to the 1.0 update, where console exclusive bugs started to exist, before the 1.0 update there were bugs but they were not console exclusive, it was the same bugs as PC but the hot fix that fixed it didn't got applied to the console version at release of each update before the 1.0 update, so once the console exclusive bugs started to exist on the 1.0 update every console player when to #ror2-bug-reports-console to chat because for the first time we were in another game in comparison to PC and if we discussed about console on the general discussion we got the classic answers of "just get a PC" and things like that, so to make the console bug report channel only for bugs and the console players can discuss about the console version they create this channel.

Idk why but I feel like Bandit is my hardest to use character. I've had numerous runs with him on Eclipse and have yet to beat E1 with him. I got SO CLOSE yesterday even defeating Mithrix but I somehow died when charging the ship and I feel like I'm literally the only person to ever die charging the rescue ship in the history of RoR2

I just tend to have a lot of uphill battles in my Bandit runs for some reason.

Even Rex I have an easier time with, and I don't like Rex at all

Bandit has one of the easiest early games, as long as you take advantage of his backstab passive, the main thing that he struggles with is proc chains, his shotgun each pellet has 0.5 proc coefficient, both of his secondaries has 1.0 proc coefficient with a 4 seconds cooldown ( if I remember correctly the cooldown) and you have the melee option which has AoE but it's melee and the range one is better for not taking that much risk but really small projectile, 1.0 proc coefficient on his utility but you have to be close range and his specials both of them have 1.0 proc coefficient but 6 seconds cooldown, lights out can help you to proc more items but the longer the run the harder is to do the final blow with it and desperado is pure raw damage but you don't have the versatility/utility of lights out.
So you have to play really carefully as bandit, take your time and try your best to take advantage of the backstab

I mean, dying on the ship especially on bandit is quite the skill issue and overall bandit is the most scuffed character to fight Mithrix on.
Bandit learning/difficulty curve is on the larger sides compared to the other, so just keep playing and build up your own experience.

Try getting the teleporter up to about 97-98%, then stepping outside it and taking damage until you’re very low, then stepping back in

The only difference between stun and shock is the duration (a changeable value vs 5 seconds that gets cut short by taking too much damage). Their effect and also the things they apply to seem to be identical

Mute the game itself and put the music through your phone, done, you can now hear the games music on switch.
This is the only solution that comes to my mind because the music cutting out is because of lag and each console limitations, on Xbox series x doesn't happen unless you are in REALLY late game runs (stage 30-40 and above) but because switch is the weakest console where you can play RoR2 this means that at early stages you create enough stress to the switch hardware that the music cuts out.

Like I wrote, "on Xbox series x it doesn't happen unless you are in REALLY late game runs", from my testing when the music cuts outs with my Xbox series and the switch of my little brother I noticed that once you create a lag spike (accumulating effects, calculations and all those things) that is where the music cuts out, for switch between less powerful performance and maybe less optimization it makes it really common the cut outs of music but on my Xbox they don't happen unless I have 2-3- clovers in a really late run where only scavengers and bosses starts to spawn with their effects and all the shenanigans and I having all the proc items, at this point my Xbox starts to have lag spikes and the musical starts to cut out.
This is from my testing, it may just be just bad optimization but I just wanted to bring it to the table.

It's specifically how the xbox handles the dlc license. It checks online on startup for the license instead of storing it locally. If you aren't connected then, you can't use it. For some reason, Microsoft decided to do this

1. Does the physical PS4 disc version come with PS5 upgrade?

2. The physical PS4 disc version is supposed to come with Risk of Rain 1. Is that from a code that might not be present in a used version, or is it on the disc?

3. How does save data and trophy data transfer from the ps4 to ps5 version? I heard it was rough when the ps5 version came out. Did it improve?

Do not stress over it, keep practicing is my first piece of advice. Make sure to always be moving and remember that items scale you faster than time scales enemies but even with that in mind don't frivolously waste time

personally i prioritize speed first, damage next, damage reduction next, and healing last

i didn't do this but probs looking up survivors guides on youtube will help

also unlocking items will help too if youre new to the game because some of the unlockables are pretty helpful

It's old school advice at this point, but the 1 item per minute rule is the best baseline to get a feel for how to play efficiently enough to not get outscaled by time while also looting enough to not get outscaled by the stage-to-stage difficulty jumps (and note that it doesn't mean literally getting a new item every moment-to-moment minute of gameplay, just to try to keep the number of minutes in your run and the number of items you pick up relatively similar)

Eventully you'll naturally develop a sense for when you can bend the rules (like spending excess time dicking around potrolling in aqueduct because bands are really good)

In terms of more specific item prioritization, it depends on the character, but everyone likes mobility items and most of the damage items, short of instances like bleed on Loader (because all of your damage is coming from giant singular hits that are not very good at continuously building stacks)

For monsoon my general priority is Healing (literally any) > Mobility > Damage > Damage Reduction > Healing (actual investment)

Healing is both somewhat important to have so you can hit blood shrines and void cradles without limping around for the rest of the stage, and relatively unimportant to stack because most of the good healing sources are pretty low investment to reach a point where you probably won't die unless you're taking enough sequential hits that healing isn't really going to help anyway

For basic mobility, goat hooves are the GOAT, being sufficiently fast makes your life astronomically easier 100% of the time, and a few hopoos pretty much entirely trivialize everything in the Mithrix fight aside from the pizza attack and are nice to have besides

Damage is all good for the most part, just use your better judgement on if a given character makes the best use of a particular item since it's pretty intuitive what is good on who (and, for that matter, what is equally good on everyone)

Come to think of it, which char are you trying for the clear with, anyway?

You have to do it through your ps5 settings, go there and scroll down to "saved data and game/app settings" here you can select your saved data in ay game and transfer it to your ps5. To do thatgo to saved data(ps4) download or delete from cloud (you will have to have at least a ps plus essential sub to do this). This gives a list of every game with saved data you played on your ps4 so now look for risk of rain 2 and once you do you can download and transfer all your progress. IMPORTANT: once you do this any progress you make on the ps4 version after the transfer will not carry over. Meaning if you unlock anything important after the transfer it wont carry over even after another transfer from my experience. This might of been fixed.

honestly after not playing the switch version for a few months it honestly isnt as bad as i remembered, the performance is almost comparable to pre rebuild

its just the audio bugging out that really brings the whole experience down

I still gotta get a better feel for the average but in the few runs I did, it did feel like the music cut out a bit less frequently and sometimes recovered after just a couple seconds

The sheer anti-Mithrix potential of ion surge, ice wall, and ice spear trivializes the fight pretty easily, and ion surge is also a free itemless pillar skip so you don't even have to do most of commencement

Only limiting factor is just that ion surge and ice spear are unlocks, so you gotta get them yourself if you don't already have them

Ice spear makes it even easier, but ice wall plus being able to hover out of the range of everything besides pizza aoes with ion surge is already a pretty big advantage
