eg consort radahn is technically fair, u can no hit soul level 1. but its stupid because complete lack of clarity in the fight, arbitrary unintuitive moves, etc

you can have way harder fights than consort radahn without resorting to stuff like that

anyways i like eclipse 8 but dont reallllllly like soulslike. i mean they were fun but kinda just did one playthrough and dipped for those games. mostly prefer difficult 2d stuff because they can really crank up difficulty while still maintaining clarity easily

like for instance how would you implement a mega difficult bullet hell in a soulslike ? u get pov issues, bullets hiding bullets, movement issues, etc etc etc

With scrap you can consistently and freely get really good items from printers and the couldrons in the lunar bizarre which is very helpful for boosting and building your run to your advantage
