Sony nintendo and microsoft all require 3rd party companies to have updates be verified by them to ensure that the changes dont infringe with their guidelines or change the age rating

There's no proper actual way the gearbox risk of rain team could manage constant, exact, and precise updates to all four platforms, especially when they all have different limitations

That's why crossplay isn't a viable thing for risk of rain unless they full on rewrite the ENTIRE code of the game so they could comfortably change every version at once

As far as I'm concerned both versions are/were equally fucked, just that the fps glitch was more noticeable because it differs on pc

The fps glitch still is a thing on console, if you got the old lunar roller glitch that set your fps to ten the physics would fuck up and if you for example tried to pillar skip as railgunner you'd barely make 1/8th of the way there

We didn't have fps related bugs because of the limited frames of console, the game borderline ran for us, which is more than what happened for a lot of PC players

This is true for me as well. I wanted to get away from long range because I HATE the rifle shot and its less damage than the shotgun as well. So I bum rush enemies and usually gets me far.

I understand that, I like the throwing one better because if I mess up in close combat and have to smoke bomb out, throwing the shiv can get hemmorage on the enemy so you can still deal damage while you’re healing

Gearbox has let some absurd bugs pass on, so I wouldnt be surprised it was a bug. Just need some confirmation from gearbox at this point.
