I'm getting back into the game on console, and have been running into some issues when trying to form a multiplayer lobby with my friends.
A buddy of mine keeps getting a black screen when he successfully launches the game, which continues to remain black when we start playing.
He's also been having issues doing so much as launching the game. It'll crash in the loading screen.
He's tried reinstalling the game, but no dice. Any suggestions?

They made it the same as PC, before you couldn't control the amount of distance that you get with the leap it was always max speed now if you hold forward you have the same distance as before but if you don't move your stick during the leap it will be less distance and holding backwards it's even less distance.

Enemies have the ai of PC when you go invisible, before they will completely break line of sight when you go invisible but now they are intelligent, they will try to shoot where you activated the cloak and after that every 3 seconds they will check where it's the transparent survivor because cloak is not a completely invisibility, it's just that you go transparent.

Nope, in general we have all the changes of PC except for the 1.2.4 patch on PC and some really minor things, everything else mechanic wise is the same as PC so you can check the wiki or ask here to know how some interaction works.

No, you don't understand. Fuel array is one of the only equipments that turrets inherit from engineer
Aspects and fuel array are both inherited by turrets
Everything else is a big fat no, but aspects and fuel array specifically have their affects applied to the turret. Fuel array sucks for eclipse (wow, who'd have known) because you start at half hp, meaning your turrets can't use it (and you die once you go through the tp), but in default monsoon it can be used

It's not impossible sure, but I personally don't bother. The risks/extra time isn't worth the items. Plus as you go up eclipse levels the permanent debuffs make vields extra spicy

Whoever you play the most / understand item synergies best with. If your new to eclipse it's good to use your main survivor so you can just worry bout getting used to the perma debuffs

Just practice, doesn't take long to get good hitting weakpoints. It's easier to quickscope shots rather than stay zoomed in I found, also I turned off aim assist as it's very jerky and pulls your scope past targets a lot

Beat e7 on them all. Technically beat e8 on everyone besides merc and rex (as well as railgunner and viend ofc) before sotv released. Unfortunately the update cleared by e8 wins and set them back to e7.
Now i just have huntress and captain officially finished with everyone else at e8

Such a powerful skill, I'd put it in a similar spot to comando's alt utility, which is also real good. Mul-t's is also slightly better because of the fact it does damage and can be a band trigger sometimes
Double the cooldown is there though and I can feel it a lot, it moves really fast though so movement wise it's not that bad

Since I'm moving onto rex for my eclipse grind, I notice something different between my grind on rex and my grind on engineer. With engie, I could kite inside of tp pretty reliably, but with rex, it's much harder to do so. Any ideas on what it could be?
Cause I'm thinking it's cause engie has to charge his 2 means of attack (i.e. waiting for harpoons and charging primary) meaning he can run a lot more

Newt altar? Guaranteed technically, i think both (all 3 with SotV) stage 1s have a guaranteed newt altar, however hard to reach
But non guaranteed, it’s somewhere like 75%, if my intuition is correct there’s roughly 2 or 3 altar spawn points on each, with a chance for none bar the guaranteed to spawn
