Nope, and nothing to do with the devs really. Console manufacturers are extremely reluctant to open to mods. Even the few games with mods only get a small preapproved list compared to pc. (Eg fallout)

Yep, we'll do bug patches as we make discovery of issues. Looks like we have a solid handful that folks have reported already so the team is already cookin on fixes for stuff. Part of the overhaul was building consoles in a way that they could be supported into the future and patches were relatively (relative to what we had before) easy.

yep, that's a fair criticism - They are the same branch but a lot of stuff manifests differently on consoles despite being 'technically' the same. The most significant of these differences being multiplayer eclipse not being there. That is an extreme example where things were different enough (you need to be smarter than me to totally understand the technical details there) that we had to manually switch it off for now.

Buuuuut, the great part is that we are able to patch stuff pretty easily now and a lot of the bugs folks are reporting are super actionable. Folks are doing great at documenting any things they uncover. The team is cranking away at bringing everyone new builds already.

Can I get some advice for railgunner? All my runs make it really deep then die to mithrix or the chaos of sky valley. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, my damage feels subpar, as does my survivability. The character feels very reliant on getting specific items to thrive, while usually otherwise good items become useless.

Hey, these are extremely fair criticisms. I had all of these issues into QA/Dev for review except for the Safer Spaces bug and the Health bar one. Those have now been documented and submitted to be replicated and patched. Sorry it's a crap expereience for you. We're working on it. We'll let you know when we have a timetable for a patch

The safer spaces bug is a consequence of fall damage hitting twice btw. So safer spaces does do it's job of blocking 1 hit

Ya always, safer spaces isn't bugged on fall damage. What happens is falling hits you with the intended damage twice. First instance procs the safer spaces and gets blocked, second instance immediately after is not blocked. So it looks like safer spaces is only blocking partial fall damage when it's actually working as intended

i played a bit of the game on consoles yesterday and god i really do think this game needs minor aim assist

because holy shit its so hard to do anything lol its so unfun

if your crosshair is roughly near an enemy it should move it slightly towards that so you dont have to fuck around with the thumbstick for 5 minutes to kill a lemurian

i might just be not used to a controller but it was really frustrating its an issue in a lot of 3d games

the hitboxes in general are pretty forgiving and the game doesn't require some massive precision

so it's workable on controller even without aim assist imo
