Playeverywheregames made a different version of the game for console

They ported the code from that same playeverywhere code

But that created a lot of bugs for some reason

So it took a lot of time to make the anniversary update happen but that took a long time too because of how weird the playeverywhere code was for gearbox

So they decided to rebuild the console code to be just like the PC version

And that's why it's taken so long for the dlc and the fixes to come out

That is my truly best educated guess I have

Yeah that makes sense & I remember them saying they were rebuilding the code so it's as similar as possible to the PC game. I just don't get how gearbox had nothing to do with the state of console ror2, considering that graphic basically shows it was all smooth until gearbox took over from playeverywhere

Idr when I started playing, but artifacts were in the game already. I remember the game working very well up until the last 2 updates where they had a few pretty bad bugs, & then went to fix those few bugs & completely botched the game in the process

Over time you'll get faster and faster at full looting a stage

Also most enemy's can be dodged by going in circles

Have you ever tried to get a skin for a character, so you load up with command, sacrifice and swarms on a monsoon run, but the game just hands you a phat L over and over and over?

Like I'm talking 2 hours worth of we'll say an average of 7 min per run, all you got was 1 white, or 1 green, before game dumps either 10 wisps (4 of them burning) or 10 Lemurians (4 of them freezing) directly on top of you. Anyone ever deal with that?

From what i understand, the game spawns at you really hard enemies at you,
Here are some tips I can give you,
1- don't use command artifact, this game punishes you for not moving and killing, and what you do when you choose an item? Stop moving and killing.
I am not joking, don't worry about which items you get if you have some knowledge of target priority and adapting your playstyle with whatever items you get until you reach the god tun you are good.

I use it when I'm trying to do something I see as difficult so I can build up fast. Im trying to get captain's skin. I just got Diablo strike like a week ago using the same method on drizzle, so now he has everything but skin. I figure if I run those artifacts I can just grab gasoline and ukulele fast then worry about heals and protection. Hopefully find newt shrine in an easily accessible location, get purity and corpsebloom, go through void fields for clover, and then rush to mythrix. But I can't do anything if I can't get more than 1 item in 7 min.

As captain, he actually has really good proc because Vulcan shotgun counts as 8 hits, each with a proc of 1. So proc items trigger much more often. That being said, gasoline and uke are great crowd control, and tri tip dagger takes that to the next level.

Yeah its stupid because it's bugged but it's not really something to be that upset about I'm more upset about bugs like some enemies becoming invincible after a couple of loops

In my time with the game I haven't really encountered any bugs. The closest thing was the tp covering the aqueduct button, but that's more unlucky map gen.
