@quartz bay I play no man’s sky on a first gen Xbox 1 too and also see a lot of those issues. They probably don’t see that as a large issue because moving forward, most people will have the newer consoles (like the S/X series)

a bug thats been on switch for about half of the year where textures dont load in properly has been fixed as well so thats nice

i was able to beat the new expedition with no crashes on switch

-the new items.
-the new void enemies, void jailer and the giant crab.
-the 2 new survivors.
Everything else is underwhelming and/or frustrating to fight against.

Like i wrote i don't really like to be pessimistic but after what i went through i no longer have that much hype for the DLC.

We don't know what was the reason behind selling the IP to gearbox, hopoo always said that gearbox is only a publisher, they don't have any weight in the decisions of the game and here we are, the console port team was changed to gearbox one month after the 1.0 update release on console, gearbox helped with somethings on the DLC and they have the IP but hey they are just the publisher and they don't have any weight in the decisions for the game.

When the anniversary bugdate, sorry, i mean the anniversary update was going to be released on console, we were all impatiently waiting for it since for the first time the console version had exclusive bugs(1.0 update) and there were no signs of them wanting to fix them with small updates, so we had to wait for a big update (anniversary update) so they announced that it will come out on Q2 of 2021, we waited for the update and on early May they said that will come SOON, everyone was hype for a fix of the console exclusive bugs of the 1.0 update, so we waited for that SOON and nothing until on June they said that the unnecessary update will come on June but only for Xbox and playstation, So everyone started to combine Soon and June as a meme and Joon was born, June 28th was when the anniversary update was released and you can imagine what happened.

It may be a multiplayer glitch, normally there should be a bridge where you are standing but it's not 100% of the time where that bridge appears so the game may think that the bridge should be there but at the same time it doesn't have to be there so it creates an invisible bridge.

its some sort of desync, registered for some players but not the others
if you dont see the bridge, it will not have collision

So it was 2-3 months before the dlc was released on PC.

Playeveryware was a 4-5 people port team, gearbox is like "20" or something like that and since they changed to gearbox everything started to go down.
Yeah the 1.0 update was released by playeveryware but i believe they would have released mini patches in order to fix the problem, gearbox didn't release any patch between 1.0 update and anniversary update and well the anniversary update ended up being anniversary bugdate.
