one benefit is that piercing means a wisp or brass contraption can't cockblock a punch against the boss

better procs on-hit effects too like crowbar and bands but just feels clunkier in a few very meaningful ways

honestly idk if it'll work at all, recently another game i love (no mans sky) the console ports have been so terrible

its all buggy and crashes so much on last gen consoles

alot of the community is vocal about it but the devs dont acknowledge or haven't even fixed it yet

if i had a nickel everytime a company made a game that i love so much and the pc version is fantastic while the console ports were butchered with little to no communication on why the console versions suck so much id have two nickels

which isnt alot but its weird it happened twice

the thing about payday 2 tho is that because it was made with the diesel engine, there was literally a small handful of devs who actually knew how to use the engine

diesel was meant to be a racing game engine, luckily payday 3 will be on unreal engine
