I'm not sure what is exactly happening behind the scenes at hopoo, it feels like they either got burnt-out or got sick and tired of people asking them about certain things.

Or they got sick of gearbox not saying anything about the port

It really doesn't matter much at this point though, they made their decision and we're going to see where gearbox takes the game

TBH, RoR1 and RoR2 are really really good, but what would RoR3 look like to step up the game?

I can at least understand Hopoo wanting to move forward and start a new world and a new series

If that keeps them sane and they make an amazing new thing that will be as cool as RoR1 and RoR2, even if completely different, I think that would be just lovely 🙂

That said, I hope at least they finally get the console versions to run properly :/

One thing that gives me some hope is why would a company pay to buy IP in RoR if they did not plan to further develop and sell it. And if they plan to continue to sell it, it would make sense not to leave a bad impression in the RoR community - i.e. most likely potential customers also in the future

I hate to make comparsions but like, dead cells has a team of 60 people (maybe 50) who have been making dual release DLCs, updates that release in a timely manner, and high quality updates for years.

In no way am I bashing Hopoo but Gearbox has handled this all so bad
