Kind of understandable, mercenary is possible the highest skill cap survivor so if you don't know how to make the most of the exposed debuff and know when and how to attacks enemies you will have a very hard time playing mercenary.

Now that I remember, what I normally do is: I look at where the teleport is and I loot the chests and/or shrines that are the furthest from the teleport, once I've been looting in that area for 3-4 minutes I go to the teleport , I kill the boss and charge the teleport and then I loot everything that is near the teleport, this is what I do from stage 1-3, stage 4 and up I loot everything I can find no matter how long it takes in the game.

So pretty much the reverse of the void fields one, as proc items and whatnot would consistently damage enemies

Yeah, like i said, all hit scans attack stops to deal damage and/or proc items, the only types of attacks that can deal damage and proc items when the bug happen are AOE/projectiles attacks.

One way to know which attacks are AOE/projectiles and which are hit scans grab a , shoot the attack to an enemy when it is in the range of , if you see pink number of damage the attack and/or item is an AOE/projectile attack, if it doesn't show pink it is a hit scan attack.

There is a glitch that makes your progress don't save after ending a run, one way to prevent it is going back to that main menu and enter to the diary in order to force a save.
Maybe this is why you only see 3 complete runs with huntress.

I recommend what others say, start the eclipse of a survivor and finish it because eclipse literally requires you to have a good mastery of how to face different scenarios depending on the survivor, since when you reach eclipse 5 and above you will already have a lot of experience with the survivor and You will know how to respond quickly depending on the circumstance and enemies.

I understand you perfectly but I'm going to give you some advice: there will come a point where you get bored of command artifact, as I told you: I prefer to play without command artifact since that way you learn how to adapt depending on the objects that they give you and this for me it is what makes risk of rain 2 fun.

i would just suggest to wait on the main menu for a while or do a another run

Yeah it can happen, sometimes when you finish a run and leave the game doesn't save your progress, one way to fix it is by forcing the save, once you finish a run don't close the game right away, go back to the main menu and then enter to diary/logbook menu and go back to the main menu, this force the game to save your progress.

To fix the lunar coin bug, after you complete a run and the coins are added to your total, launch another run and end it, doing this keeps your lunar coin amount when you reload in, if you exit after you finish the run you beat, it wont save it

well, something interesting happened in this run, in stage 1 I saw a lunar pod at that moment I thought: rex is the survivor who gets the most out of because the healing of the primary depends on the damage you do and the life it takes away from you other abilities depends on your life, so literally buff rex, and what came out of the lunar pod.... , I had to grab it and here I am praying that I don't die
