I was under the impression that if someone opens a chest, whatever drops out of it, is able to be picked up by everyone on the team, my latest attempt at coop quickplay taught me otherwise. Is there some kind of etiquette when it comes to item drops in cooperative or is it really just competitive in disguise?

In my opnion i think Loader is the most fun survivor to play around because Grappling hook (or fist?) slaps hard, but her combat is actually awful since she is an one trick pony, what i mean is: the only thing she does is spam her """Utility""" and nothing else, her M1 is only useful at early stages, both Specials are very underwhelming (At least her base Special can be used to fly at mach 50) and the only thing thats saves her is her passive, in the end i don't think she's weak or anything like it, she doesn't deserve a nerf, just a little rework or tweaking, she's just boring for me.

one time while unlocking artifacts i interacted with the portal but i killed some enemies while waiting for the portal to bring me to the artifact place, for some reason the portal started to eat my gold one by one super slow, took me 1 minute to enter the portal

Yeah it Is the "immortality" bug, what i mean by "immortality" bug is all hit scan stop working, literally all hit scan attacks stop dealing damage and if they deal damage they don't proc items, the only types of attacks that works are projectile/AOE.
One way to know which attacks are projectile and which ones are hit scan is: grab a focus crystal and shoot a enemy inside the area if you see the damage increased but the damage numbers aren't pink is a hit scan, if the damage numbers show pink inside of the focus crystal area is projectile/AOE.

There is not a "manually" way to save your progress, the best that you can do is: once you finish your run go back to the main menu, go to the log books/diary and go back again to the main menu. this is 99% sure that your progress will be saved
