- Makes the host control the TP and more
- Makes items equally distributed or an "anti-steal" mod
- Makes shops in bazaar not disappear. (f.e. Buying shape glass only buys one per newt visit. Wanting it to stay an option to everyone.)

So I heard that the host can be the only one to hit TP and/or portal. I wanted this because my friends love to spam tp right when everyone wasnt ready to go.
For the shops, a streamer used a mod that made the shops in bazaar give you the item, but doesnt disable the shop. I'll find a quick clip

hey so im loading the game with a handful of mods (15-40, tops) and the game is loading every single mod i have instead (all 154 of them) including the deprecated ones

Did you have a manual install before?
If it was a profile import that had a bunch of disabled mods then it may have imported them still active even if it says they're disabled

Nope. Only exceptions are the 2 prismatic trial ones that unlock harvesters scythe and mercs alt special skill
and thats because prismatic trial isnt available with most mods

There's still some caveats with propersave. It only saves on entering a stage
But obviously better than not saving at all in the event of say a crash or whatever

A full log is way more useful for finding what your mod problem is.
If you are using r2modman or Thunderstore Mod Manager:
You can copy your log by going to the Settings screen, selecting the Debugging tab and clicking Copy LogOutput.log to clipboard
And paste it in this channel.
If you have manual install:
You can find such log file in your Risk of Rain 2/BepInEx/ folder, the file is called LogOutput.log.
Drag the file in this channel so that other users can help you.

Yeah you download r2modman manually. It has the instructions for that on the page.
After you have it installed you download mods by clicking on the download with mod manager button or on the mod manager itself you can click on the online tab and search and download for mods there

Some mods make use of it but for the most part you wont need to worry too much about needing something. The mod manager will download anything a mod needs if you didn't already have it installed

All mods will need BepinEx and most will need r2api but again it's not something to worry about. If a mod needs something then the mod manager will download those too

General rules: Anything last updated before March 1st 2022 is 99% of the time not going to work
If the mod adds new items to the game then anything before April 19th 2022 most likely wont work either
Those dates were basically the dlc launch and a major update to the game respectively. Other than that you should rarely walk into a problem so long as you check the upload dates

Other than that mods will usually work between updates. Just check the patchnotes for anything that says "Support for modders". If something like that isn't there then you usually wont have any issues π

Settings -> Toggle download cache (disable it)
Settings -> Export profile as code
If you don't get an export code, this is a definite sign that it's a bad BepInEx install. You can skip straight to step 8 after re-downloading BepInEx from the Online section.
Settings -> Change profile
Import -> From code
Select new profile
Start modded
Toggle the download cache (enable it)
I'm still not 100% convinced the game directory matches up tbh since that's the usual suspect especially when people have moved which drive their game was installed on at some point

good luck getting either Gold or Captured aspects 
gold elites are vanilla but they spawn in Gilded Coast where Aurelionite is if using the mod called "GoldenCoastPlus"
Captured elites are spawned from the equipment called "Wildlife Camera" from the mod "BubbetsItems" (they can only be allies, so if they die, then you have a chance to get the Aspect of Illusion)
sounds like you need to re-think what mods you want to use

You're running the dedicated server rather than the game. Go into your mod manager and click change game then make sure you've selected game and not server before selecting risk of rain 2

I'm back with more problems. For some reason if I try opening my modded game specifically with the mod SkillsPlusPLus (by Volvary) the game isnt shown. Task manager and steam both say the game is running, at least in the background. Other than those two, there are no signs of the game to be seen.

Hey, has anyone experiencedd the issue with the mod loader simply not running mods? I've been playing with mods for a long time but suddenly, today, when I press Start Modded, it launches the game perfectly but completely unmodded. I have tried to verify the game cache, the game is in the same harddrive as the mods, checked the designated location of mods and the game from r2modman but I still get no mods in-game.
I have 24 mods, installed and enabled.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling r2modman as well.
I just fixed it by changing profiles...
Was probably a corrupted BepInEx download then. Sometimes random acts of Internet happen π

acrid has lotsa hp, 20 base armor, regenerative and high mobility, you are going through a learning process with a character who's different from the rest of the cast

Do you have Spikestrip 2.0 installed? Go into your configs and disable Acrids Deeprot skill in Spikestripes config if so
is there a mod that gives u tooltips for buffs/debuffs on hud when u hover over them while holding tab key
BetterUI is your closest bet but it requires the debuffs to actually have tooltip descriptions which some usually don't since they arn't normally supposed to be readable

Hi, I've encountered problem with mods on dedicated server. Manual installation of mods leads to client connection error. It says that mod versions are mismatched, even though they are exactly as required.

Eclipse 8 modifier does work Iβm just not sure if the other ones do (fall damage one does too) same with the e1 and e2 ones but the enemies donβt feel any faster

check it with debugtoolkit, get in game, spawn a beetle and a grandparent in artifactless run, see how fast beetle moves and damage grandparent to 50% and see how often he casts the sun. then repeat with e4 and e7

hes pretty good, but no stronger than some vanilla characters
you can use your mousepad as a mouse, it's disorienting at first but you'll get the hang of it.
personally i binded primary to num5 and secondary to num6 to emulate the mouse buttons, while keeping utility as shift and special as r.
i've tried for ages doing the same thing, but it was all just too complicated and didnt work at all
best to just experiment with what you have or literally just get a controller

i got ror2 recently, should i get into modding when i do everything there is to do or should i start early?
it doesn't really matter, mod when you feel like it
I'd air on the play vanilla for awhile till you get used to things but if you do want to mod straight away/shortly after playing for abit then I'd recommend this set of mods. It's the absolute bare minimum with basically no actual changes to the core vanilla game

For captains unlock that just comes with practice really. Also looping runs are game breaking and you become the destroyer of worlds so there's always that route π

In my opinion now that the dlcs come out the hardest part of a run is basically the first 5 stages/pre-loop. The dlc added so much strong stuff to the game that just getting to a loop now makes you basically too strong where as before it took till around stage 7/8 to reach that power level
