I dont use classic items because most of the items from it are basically in the game now through one way or another from survivors

Yeah -- I also saw that someone managed to get it working again using older versions of mod and its dependencies but they never mentioned which version so I'm wondering for any alternatives. Are we simply waiting till the update of it being fixed is out?

yo I have a problem where my game freezes at the initial loading screen at 100%
Disable any mod that adds items that hasn't updated since today
I checked out what mods are loading and the only one that isn't is hook gen patcher
already done
If mmhooks broken try this
- Go to Settings
- Click Browse profile folder
- Go to BepInEx folder
- Go to plugins folder
- Delete MMHOOK folder
- Start the game
It'll regenerate a new one when you run the game p sure

Every time i finish a run the game softlocks itself at the statistic screen with no way to exit it.
The win doesn't get counted and i can't get the achievments regarding the ending of a run.

I literally had this happen to me last night after beating Mithrix when I got to the ship. Screen got partial white and soft locked so I didnโt get credit for the entire run
Thatโs running R2 with some mods but I had to disable better ui to get the gane running
Better UI gave me some problems as well, but now seems to work.

I use better Ui and my logbook and survivor unlocked skills are bugged

yeah logbook bug is the worst for me rn, im pretty sure its being caused by the hookgen patcher which we really cant do much about until an update for the mod releases :|
again, probably cus of the logbook. I recently completed a run and i was running captain (who i usually dont play so i had no abilities) I completed the objective to unlock the nuke but logbook is so broken rn. Also this relates to the reason why its buggin at the end of the run. as u may know logbook is basically what unlocks new perm items and abilities and because it is currently non existent, this happens.
So we have to wait for a fix

recent patch broke modding api due to changes to how item tiers and modded achievements are added, meaning the logbook and its challenges are broken with mods

BetterUI seems to have pickup notifications off by default but I want them so I changed "AdvancedPickupNotificationsItems" and "AdvancedPickupNotificationsEquipment" to true but I'm still not getting pickup notifications. Is there another setting I need to change somewhere? Been having trouble trying to find it. If it helps, the other mods I have installed are: BepInExPack, HookGenPatcher, R2API, ShareSuite, and ProperSave.

Because for some reason, every time I am using a mod who implements more Items (for example "CassicItems", "Supply_Drop", "MoreItems") my game tends to make my character slow and Items aren't working as they should work. Said mods weren't Deprecated while I was using those, nevertheless, they were still slowing down my character and making items non-functional

From experience, nope, not BetterUI on its own. It is just how game code changed internally that broke all the mods. A good chunk of them will break the logbook and achievement unlocks now.
My game refuses to load past 60%, any mods that are currently known to cause that?
First culprits should be the mods that add new items/achievements/artifacts. It is safe to assume anything that wasn't updated since last update is broken. The BepInEx console should also show the exact source of the error if you open up the warning message for it.

I don't recall if it's enabled by default, but you usually have a console pop-up whenever you launch modded RoR, that's the easier way of tracking down the errors. If it is disabled, I think thunderstore mod manager has an option to enable that in settings? Just throwing it out there.

Either way, console is a tad easier to handle than looking through the log file, but that's up to people how they prefer it. I'm just going to wait out on mods until unlockables are fixed, that is the most painful thing they broke. Can't unlock anything with mods enabled.

Just search for anything that says "Warning" or "Error" one or the other.
It usually has a name of the mod mentioned in that entry.
To be fair again, easier to do with the console because you can just filter the log to show only errors.

Late on the response party here, but yeah those won't work until they're updated. Game devs changed up achievement code, so mods need to be rewritten to add these properly, at least as far as I recall.

I don't really know what mods might be causing Risk of Rain 2 to lag every second past map 4, but my assumption is I had way too many mods. I dunno how to check for such a thing either. I am too new to Risk of Rain modding

Some come with configs to unlock them otherwise you'll need to use UnlockAll since modded achievements are broken atm and don't show in the logbook

UnlockAll still works however and you can use CheatUnlocks to Re-lock the vanilla stuff you didn't want caught in the crossfire like eclipse levels

Easiest way is to just check the logbook. usually modded achievements are all the way at the end but you'll notice that anyway cause they'll look locked there

Me and a friend were making a mod for Heretic that adds Item Displays for everything, essentially they were handling the code side while I was doing the repetitive work of placing all the items on Heretic with EnderBrine's ItemDisplayPlacementHelper mod and generating coordinates.
But my friend's burnt out for personal reasons, so I'm floating in the water without much progress to make.
I essentially need someone's help enabling item prefabs for Heretic, adding some bones to the ChildLocator, and pasting the coordinates I generate into a working set of displays. I love the repetitive work, so I'm happy handling all the placements myself.
I actually already have a google doc filled with coordinates with items place on what bones are functioning in the ChildLocator if there's desire to get a 0.1 version out.
Nothing on the arms or shins though.

Oh yeah, another stretch goal I had after finishing this was reviving the "Enemy Item Display" mod. It was an ambitious mod that was working on adding IDRS to every enemy in the game, but it was deprecated because it was a lot of work.
Now because I'm a maniac, I want to bring it back. Fully.
It's over a month's work because every entity takes about a day, going by my own experience and Bizzo's when he tuned in to one of my conversations about it

Tried this mod and really disliked it. You need to change the config between normal shooting, autofiring and autofiring when charged. Try CaptainShotgunModes instead, its much better IMO
Also- I'm having issues with the modded character Bomber not unlocking. It says you need to pickup 20 sticky bombs in a run and ive gotten plenty more than that but it won't unlock. Anyone know if this is some kind of bug because of the latest patch or if its possibly something else causing issues instead?

Pretty much all my mod unlockables locked themselves again. (characters, Extra skills, Items) When I switched from a Vanilla but skins to a heavy modded one. Good thing there are unlock mods

You already want to hold them for your hardest hit rather than having something smaller waste it

In r2modman go Settings > Debugging > Copy Log File contents to clipboard. Paste that into notepad and starting from the top look for any mod that errors out when it tries to load
