ForcedItemEqualShare or ShareSuite
First one equalizes items among all players, making sure everyone has roughly the same amount of items (ForcedItemEqualShare)
The other just distributes an item to all players when an item is picked up, with some blacklists for Lunars and Equipment (ShareSuite)

the main problem for modders is the baker (collision, interactable locations, ai pathing), which is getting updated soon i hope

Apparently this one Legendary Chest that spawns in the tall tree in Sundered doesn't get replaced with a Red Multishop with the BigCategoryChests mod. 🤨
I think it's more interesting if it was guaranteed by default, give an actual reason to go to Sundered Grove for something unique for the red.

I have problems unlocking some of his skills and its probably my fault. but i dont get it
I need to kill 15 blazing elites with burn damage.
What do i need to do exactly here? I take that Artifact with the only elite spawn and kill 15 red guys with my flame thrower skill. Any ideas what im doing wrong?
The Ignite damage is what needs to kill them, not the direct damage from Flamethrower or Flame Bolt
Ohh ok. Any ideas on items that help me on this? Just use gasoline?
Gasoline will help a lot with getting burn
I also advise watching the enemy's HP to see when to stop hitting them with Flamethrower/Flame Bolt and instead let Ignite kill them

Not sure what you mean by manual modding method being obsolete but R2Modman still sounds difficult to use. It sounds like more work needs to be done vs pressing a hotkey to turn something on and off. Not disrespecting it or spitting on it or anything like that. If that is what most people use then okay if it work it works. I only use WeMod cuz I was in a different server and asked people what I could use to mod games without having to do so much work and someone suggested WeMod for new users like me

R2Modman is stupidly easy to use. Download, install, and now you can manage a bunch of different games and modded profiles, and easy access to downloading mods, configuring them, or enabling/disabling them.
WeMod is a cheat client, and as such only has a cheat functionality. It has none of the connection to Thunderstore (the mod repository), and has limited functionality overall.
As for manual modding, that refers to manually downloading BepInEx and shifting around game folders

I was playing Huntress and I ended up getting like 5+ attack speed with flurry and when I was fighting bosses my screen would just fill up with the word “Immune” and lag my game like crazy

Does increasing the spawn rate of enemies make the game easier or harder?
On one hand it's easier to get swarmed, on the other hand I never have to worry about running out of money (non sacrifice) or items (sacrifice)
nemry is overall very fun but there are some major problems like swap weapons being affected by attack speed (and therefore being very difficult to handle at high attack speed numbers)
I feel like I'm not good enough at the game to be giving balance advice but I'd love to play with tuning the damage numbers of his abilities
I'm afraid the complaints fall on deaf ears

No, there's still a way to go about it, but since they use an editor based workflow you won't get the complete picture. You can use code spy tools like DnSpy

the one thing I dislike about nemry is not only does he not benefit from cooldown reduction but at least with character customization you can't even give his abilities cooldowns

rob just really liked how "surprise" nemforcer turned out
the cooldown thing just makes backup mags, bandolier, brainstalks, alien head, afterburner, purity, and amethyst redundant
and I can't help but pick up every item I see which means I end up with backup mags and bandolier on a regular basis that do nothing but taunt me

but more importantly, not being able to give abilities cooldowns means I can't give weapon swap a 0.5 second cooldown, which would prevent me from double tapping it at high attack speeds

utility resets its own cooldown on its own kill but iirc it has some global cooldown reset from other abilities

its global cooldown reset comes from successful deflect on secondary
iirc I triggered its on deflect by deflecting a wisp shot, which is not a projectile
this is going to be fun, I can tell
the only problem is I don't know how to leave cloak without waiting for it to run out, which is inconvenient
mainly because I want to use my primary, since deflecting things while cloaked doesn't really make sense
ah, damage dealt on elemental stab resets primary, so I guess I have to cloak, shoot five shurikens, elemental stab, five more shurikens, by which point I should be out of cloak

and it seems if I get the timing right I can deflect with m2 as many times in a row as I'm capable of
the one thing that bothers me about ninja right now is if I happen to be in melee range of a wisp, my primary doesn't do damage quickly enough to kill it easily, which I think means I would have to use my secondary or even my utility to execute the wisp

BaseMaxUsageRate has a default of 0.1, which seems to be 10% of your maximum health, and StackMaxUsageRate has a default of 0.05, which I think means the heal increases by 5% of your maximum health per stack

nightly fork gives 25% increased base damage (linearly, I believe) on a white item and workshop ammunition gives 20% (total, also linearly I think) only to ranged attacks on a green item... is fork imbalanced or is a workshop ammunition imbalanced? or are they both balanced because total is better than base?

UnlockAll is good if you're constantly adding and removing mods so you don't have to deal with unlock conditions multiple times
ItemDropList is good because sometimes you want to ban items
EphemeralCoins is nice if you feel like hacking coins is ideologically impure and BiggerBazaar is nice if you feel like the power level of the game is too low
but with BB the game is very binary based on whether you get a blue orb or newt altar, which is possibly un-fun
the corpsebloom rework (I forget the name) is I guess nice if you've ever thought "I like corpsebloom but I wish it wasn't a lunar, but I wish you still got it like a lunar"
there are mods (I forget the name also) that speed up chests, scrappers, and printers, which are good qol but imho alter the balance of the game in a way I wouldn't personally put in my game

EphemeralCoins also lets you change how frequently a blue orb spawns and whether going through the portal affects the spawn rate of future blue orbs in that run

So that mod is overriding the other two. Go into the config and disable the changes to printers and scrappers. While you're there, you might as well set the delay on shrine uses to 0, itll make chance shrines instantaneous.

I don't care about the balance aspect of not waiting at interactables I just want to do my thing and move on.

so I want EarntConsumable mode on starting items to stack a lot faster since I don't think it's reasonable for Earnt mode to take multiple runs just to earn enough credits for a green item... what are some good values so I can reliably get a white item and maybe a green item on any decent run and a red item if the run does particularly well?

Depending on the scope of the mod, you can get by with little to no C# knowledge
There's a bunch of resources in the modding discord, whose invite is in the pins here
it was mostly expanding on the Twisted Scavengers and the Beads of Fealty
more unique scavs, a stacking effect for the beads, that sort of thing

Proc coefficient is the multiplier used when determining the chance to proc an item
For example, Commando's Double Tap has a 1.0 proc coeff. An ATG has a 10% chance to proc. So 10x1, or 10% chance to proc
But Captain's (individual) shotgun pellets have a 0.75 proc coeff, so that ATG would be 10x0.75, or 7.5% chance to proc
Some items also have proc coefficients, such as the aforementioned ATG, which can lead to proc chains

funnily enough, it was somehow caused by risk of ruina, and yet, when we uninstalled risk of ruina and installed the deprecated character mods (the characters from risk of ruina, but separate from the other content) now the game magically works

if you're using the first dash, it can do multiple hits, it has multiple hitboxes
try to hit them with it, its side and its edge at once

that explains why its damage felt so inconsistent, it's because I wasn't paying attention to the center of the dash and trying to clip them with the edge of it
is there a way for the config settings to be saved when sharing a code, cos for a lot of the item mods my friend and i turn off some of them but when we share it to another person, even though we check the config editor the mods are turned off but it doesnt register that they are and they cant join the lobby

also I feel like I'm missing something small with Starting Items... I have limbo set to x15 and monsoon set to x8 but after clearing 8 stages I got 900 credits, not 960

for persistent I'm using the default, which is 2.5x for limbo and 4x for monsoon, which comes out to 80 credits, which is exactly how many I got
in retrospect the only thing that would require any actual coding is the BoF stacking effect
I can just copy-paste the twisted scavenger code and change the items and names to make new ones
ok so the way I have it set now, a stage 8 obliteration gives me 600 credits (enough for one red item and two green items) and stage 8 twisted scavenger gives me 900 which is more in line with the kind of sustainability I want from my runs
my goal is to treat earned persistent mode as what I play to earn consumable credits and earned consumable as my main mode
That's odd. Configs should be saved when sharing profile codes. If it's not doing that's an error.
Do not pay attention to that. It's a bad feature. Basically the way to handel mods in this game is if it doesn't cause an issue with game play ignore it. But if you notice a problem happening, pause and check the log to see what it says.
LostInTransit Aspects are dropping as equipment rather than items despite the fact that I have ZetAspects installed and converting aspects into items
the only config option that could be causing this forces aspects to drop as equipment if elite variety is installed and that's not the case here

The strongest part of some of the SivsItems drops is sometimes being fuel for boss item printers if you find a good one.

I think, that regen passive generates two values for some reason i dont remember, and nebby set it to choose a lower value, and because regen value integer overflows for some reason, code chooses that smallest possible value
