it loads the lobby scene, enforcer has an error, it tries to add you as a network user and somehow fails

I'll be honest I have no idea whats causing your issues. I'd suggest looking at the other mods you added to the modpack besides SS2 because you've determined that the problem is not exclusive to either of the SS2 builds

just like disable enforcer even tho I doubt that's the cause but that's the only other error in the lobby
my plan was to just uninstall mods untill it fixes itself but if the config files stay and can cause problems that wont help??

It's the host that has a error when the mod loads not the client so the host if anything would have the issue but I'll just try to figure out why that happens

looks like the first mod is what you're looking for, and the second has more control over credits
With this mod, you have greater control in determining how much interactables or enemies the game spawns, with optional harder scaling for increased player count. Entirely without modifying the (monetary) costs of interactables.

Noclip in debugtoolkit is pretty much entirely custom
Gunslinger is a nother mod that is likely not going to be supported post-DLC update, just like Rein Sniper so just like that one I would not get too attached.
But yeah wraith frenzy is an unlockable skill. So if you want to use that part of the passive you need that skill.

last time this happened to me, rain of stages was conflicting with something but i'd assume twine fixed it already
I'm finding the game to still be fairly stable between 100 and 120 mods. If you go far above that, and the more mods you use that have not been updated in a long time, especially ones that have not been updated since before April/May 2021 the more you run the risk of stuff going wrong. And it becomes harder to figure out where the issues are coming from.
I think bepin updated cause none of my mods are currently working so thats fun

So I've had an idea I'd love to maybe get some help making for a mod. Basically its a tanky pangolin character. One of these creatures, while slow hes one of the tankiest survivors for sure. Attacking with his claws, tongue and tail.
Already have a bunch of potential moves.
Passive would be Iron Scales. The pangolin has HIGH base armor that gets reduced with each hit but slowly recovers over time naturally.
Basic attacks being wide claw swipes that are slower but hit harder than acrid.
Secondary could be Tail swipes. Good for knocking away enemies, diving into a group you do it and smack all of em around you. Possibly also using it in the air you do a frontflip and swing your tail, smashing down enemies you hit below you, spiking flying enemies to the ground.
Shift could be less mobility more utility, curling up into defensive mode, high damage reduction and you quickly regain Iron Scale Stacks.
Special ability could be something like a massive burrow ability. Big Aoe at the start and you select where you pop out of, so a two part attack. Of course you can select right where you already are so both AOE's hit the enemies around you or use it to quickly get away or close the distance to enemies.

AMD FSR really isn't that different from normal upscaling. It's essentially just lanczos (somewhat like a sharper bicubic, which itself can be seen as a fancier bilinear/what most filters use) with some edge detection algorithm + some other minor stuff and sharpening
The 2 screenshots aren't a comparison of on vs off btw

That mod breaks the methods for giving an equipment and so giving minions the elite equipment causes it to never work
either gotta disable elite inheriting in FixedDissonances config or just not use artificerextended until it updates

but it's not between r2mm/tmm, they use the same hosting site and internal code to import mods

you have to be missing more than 87% of your max health in order for this to be better than dungus
plus you get dungus' effect when you're moving faster, so it's overall not a good idea

You have to enable the survivors you want to change in the config
Then load the mod again to properly generate their areas inside the config

Yeah, if you're using manual installations, I recommend deleting all the files related to it and installing R2Modman instead
Once/if you have the modman installed, it'll be on the left side of the screen called "config editor"

Effigy, Loader's Pylons, Engie's Turrets, the Pots, and Enemies can all be used to press the buttons

effigy is a way to press the button, i woudnt count it as viable, i remember engies turrets do it but i never play engie, and i have no idea how you could consistently open it with a enemy unless corpses count?

Th Effigy method is quite viable
Effigy is fine after they updated it so you don't have to go back to pick it up. It serves as an alright middle-of-the-road equip now
if i went to the bazaar i feel like i would much rather have a tonic then take a effigy, and it means you need to make a bazaar portal or just get very lucky in order to be able to interact with the unique feature of that stage in singleplayer on most characters
Going to the bazaar, buying an effigy and lunar seeing to desert is a sure way to start off any run if you're tired of rng
of course would take at least 6 coins for a legit player but totally viable
Bands are strong, and guaranteeing getting them with little effort (Without using Command or Sacrifice) is very good
And it doesn't cost much

1 Mithrix win (1 Mithrix win is 10 lunar coins)
lots of reds are also very strong, but the mechanic to summon the AWU isnt gated around doing extremely specific things on most chars to even get to fight the enemy that you need to kill for it
I mean if you're going for consistent kills I guess that is the case, 2 refreshes would fit in there but Lunar Coins be Lunar Coins
yeah because every stage 4 has a guaranteed legendary
not every normal stage has a gimmick that gives you a huge spike in power

thank you, and i could, but that would be a lot of lunar coins considering minimum 6 coins any time i wanted to do it presuming effigy and tonic spawn first time when im buying them, like im not saying you cant do it solo, i just dont like its far harder to do in solo compared to multiplayer

i'm grinding up hunderds of lunar coins for the first week of dlc by fighting 6 twisted scavs at once because I'm scared a 1000 won't be enough
sure but then the optimal run is just every run go into bazaar and spam reroll into tonic and 4 gestures and whatever else you want, the limit on lunar coins even if i have like 150 right now is nice to stop you just rerolling into all the lunar items you want at the start of any run

technically you dont need anything to win a run, but infinite rerolls in the bazaar feels kinda like having command on for me, sure you could use it to do some wacky builds you would normally never to get but using it when trying to win is kinda pointless

Problem: My R2modman will start the game modded, but not all the mods will load. Some of them do, and the modpack was from a code someone gave me and it works, but the mods just aren't all loading. The game, R2modman, and all the mods are up to date.

so i'm having a bug with multiplayer, as are others, where players besides the host have their base damage stuck at or around where it starts, i.e. ~12. we're using a lot of mods, this is happening in multiple packs. these packs are pretty similar, all running dropinmultiplayer, toomanyfriends, riskymod, starstorm 2, etc. in common. anyone have any idea what could be happening?

To summarize mod functionality
Server-side means it only needs to be installed on the host to function among all players
Client-side means it only functions on the client's side, and is not required by the host or other players to have it installed, though they will not receive its benefits
So everyone can join modded lobbies regardless of mods (generally speaking)
Anyways
- Mods are directly tagged on Thunderstore and R2Modman's browser
- Server-side and Client-side mods only

But if the lobby is running any mods required on both host and client, such as character mods like Paladin or content mods like Aetherium, then all players will need the mod(s) in question

You have RoRCheats/Aerolt and DebugToolkit?
Use the former to truly check, and the latter to move to the next stage if it is missing

The find tele objective is tied to the tele's spawn
If there's no objective, there's no tele
i dont recognize any of those that you mentioned. i ended up using the artifact portal to go to the next stage

That's depending on your specs there. I get frame skips after stage 20-25 if I longplay due to everything happening, modded or not.

I wouldn't directly call myself a true "Head" of the team, as that was honestly Rob at the time, which the mantle has somewhat passed to Timesweeper.
But I am the one who came up with the overall idea (not visual design, mind you, but I was given permission by the artist themselves for my modeler to make a 3D model).
Majority, if not all of the credit, goes out to my team. I'm nothing more than just a bug/playtester and a community manager, but I still direct and control a few things here and there.
Without them being so generous in helping and working on the mod, Paladin would have never existed.

Go to Settings -> Change game
Make sure you’re on the games tab
It's not the game launching it's trying to open r2modman to play modded, it just doesn't open but ror2 opens just fine through steam

So I'm going to be making a character mod and wanted to talk lore and movesets with anyone interested
It's my first mod so I can't promise it will be good, but I would like to make it original and make sure it can sit comfortably within the games lore while maintaining a unique moveset

I think rn the intent is to make the Special skill be a summon. The summon will either be or be similar to an existing monster within the game, and will be passively active but actively summoned. In other words, it will be similar to the engineer's turrets in that they are summoned but exist until death

Canonically, there's only one Survivor from the UES:CL crash (besides Acrid). There's not exact statements, but it's generally agreed to be Mando, due to the logs being similar to what he'd write and Mando also being the first character unlocked

Here are my various ideas:
- A defective guardian created by Providence that had too much soul similar to Aurelionite that was then imprisoned, but was released (similarly to how Aurelionite was). This guardian because adept with the elements and began crafting his own chimeras
- In a similar fashion, a Grovetender who created their wisps more beast-like and grew to hate Mithrix
- Someone (survivor or other) who got trapped in the void fields, after being released managed to scavenge the fields for various supplies and creatures
- A servant of Mithrix, corrupted by Lunar items who grew to be the hand of Mithrix in the construction of golems (how I will fit this into turning against him I do not know)
Ultimately, the character I choose could greatly change their moveset

The first would definitely change it to be more similar to Artificer, in the manipulation of elements to overwhelm (Though I'd assume would use something closer to magic, instead of the nanotech Arti uses)
The second would be more organic, but put focus into swarm tactics over a singular summon
The third is the most open-ended of the bunch and could really be anything
The 4th is also more open-ended

The first I would give a strange form of magic to. Summons would be likely created by a device the deserter (im currently calling them) created that can instantly manipulate elements. For example, the summon of this character will be summoned by tossing a grenade and dealing AoE damage to a crowd before constructing a chimera
The second would involve more swarm tactics yes. Possibly a Secondary or Utility skill that spawns a swarm of friendly wisps. I would still like to keep the summon a singular, likely quadrupedal, beast (likely still with a clay mask like other wisps)
The third is extremely open ended, but as a character less interesting. A generic scrapper, what can I say. I could kinda toss whatever here and make it work.
The forth I think might focus on lunar components. Possibly a Secondary or Utility that launches volleys of the projectiles from Visions of Heresy. A simple Lunar chimera type such as those found on the moon (less creativity compared to the first as the first is creating their own chimeras). Maybe special interactions with lunar items. May even spawn with Beads of Fealty.
