Had an idea: some how add a new option to a gamemode screen in RoR2, have eclipse and such in there but add a mode called "the void"
The way it will work is by loading into your normal maps, but of course you have a dark fog and you have to open the cells, possibly every difficulty adds a cell you have to work on. (As in stage 1 is on easy mode, and will have only 1 cell, if you get to say hard mode while still on stage 1 for some reason, the cells will then appear on the following stage with the matching 3 cells as it is the third difficulty) once you have breached all of the cells, a portal will be located and will have a chest for each player, and that many chests equal to the level of difficulty. (2 players in a hard difficulty stage have 3 chests each, a total of 6 chests.) Drizzle is slow difficulty pace, rain is normal, monsoon is increased pace (as usual) the game is by default on artifact of command, and in order to unlock the gamemode, you must locate a stone with the artifact of struggle on it, this will be located in a new temple building added to the void fields that holds the portal to escape, this temple would look like a Greek Parthenon but run down, with the storm laying on one of the pillars. The artifact of struggle in a normal game of risk of rain 2 will make make ONLY chests spawn (small and large green and occasionally legendary, no orange, green, purple, shops or timing chests) as well as when you go to mythrix, the moon will be foggy purple like the void, although it will be far clearer than the actual void. When mythrix is killed, the gamemode is unlocked.
For an extra bit of spice, maybe when the gamemode is completed, you may unlock a new survivor that can be original to RoR2 called the lost or something, make him tinted purple or something with a crossbow.
Hell if this were a like 5 dollar expansion I'd buy it, but I think it's more of a mod kinda thing.

i can still launch it manually, the manager just won't launch it itself and that's kinda annoying

That's what you want, these additional skills are mapped to different keys

The issue with dbz mods is how the skin selection is done. Instead of using vanilla skin system it draws specifically 4 lines for skills and then these new buttons, so if there are more than 4 skills they are not drawn.

So, technically ExtendedLoadout does work with dbz mods, it's just that you can't select any skill and by default extra skill is selected to be disabled

The issue is not a mapping to the keys, but selection of a skill.

we were testing a lot of stuff now and as it seems, the reason for the lag is either:
-StutterStunter -Autosprint or -LighterPatcher it also could be another one of the 2 mini mods we removed...

Hey so this is an incredibly specific issue, I've been trying to access the steam leader boards for ror2, but the request requires a publisher Key for the game, while i think it'd be mad to just hand this out, is there a way that the steam leader boards could be updated to not require this key? That way the prismatic leader board could be used on websites and in discord bots etc.

I think, (and really just ignore me cos i know nothing about networking and this kinda things), that the publisher key is hidden on the server side, and so you either need to explicitly have the key to put in the request or use the server side calls that already own the key.

You know what it makes sense that he is balanced around bands because of burst damage and it will be inevitable with that type of damage but i feel like its "get band to win" so i made an idea completely based around bands but in a better fashion 🙂
Make it so the m1 gets an innate weaker band (less damage) with no band effects as well (like fire pool or freeze) and getting a kjaros or runalds enhances the innate weaker band by adding those effects like the freeze and the fire pool as well as increase the band damage a bit (since the innate band will be significantly lower and his character would be based around upgrading them). Bands would spawn like a rusted box where you would have to find them each stage. Stacking bands wouldnt be the same, as in the damage increase wouldnt be stacked so high since they are guarenteed each stage and it would kinda be op if it was the normal stat increase I feel like it would kinda be cool for a character that incentivizes exploration and upgrading their abilities every stage.
found a band printer one run and did approximately 1.4 mil with a single shot to a grandparent cross map on stage 5
it would be a hard concept to make probably but i think it would actually be a good way to handle burst damage on a character since bands are so op
honestly I don't wanna discuss that much over a sniper character because I think they're just not fun but at least moffeins kinda pulls it off well, reins just feels like it adds in bandaid gimmicks like blink knife "oh what if you teleported 90 miles across the stage so you could snipe the enemies"

base damage scales too slow for most burst characters to stay relevant without bands
unless they have high attack speed with bleed
yeah but its like base sniper is like kinda a bit sucky without bands and then bands makes him op
other characters still have other sources of damage alongside burst if they do proc bands well
just so you dont have to rely on a very niche item type

putting aside the why sound design it a lot of the skills just feel like death mark and squid polyp idk
was gonna try it out later with my friend, but from the 30 seconds I was able to survive it felt kinda weak
it feels like they were made to counteract a specific problem and then just feel blahg everywhere else

Somehow the math on the corpsebloom makes it heal more overall each time as well as healing for longer

yeah the way corpsebloom works is that it limits the maximum amount of health you can heal per second
at 1 stack it doubles your healing but if you heal more than 10% of your max health in a second, it gets put into a pool that will continue to heal you each second until it runs out

hey so i just recently downloaded a bunch of risk of rain 1 characters mods (enforcer, miner, chef, sniper, and han-d) and all of sniper enforcer and miners abilities were unlocked. i eventually unlocked chef (which his one ability was still locked) and nemesis enforcer, who had all of his abilities and skins except for the win or obliterate on monsoon. i looked in the logbook and in the game files and it said nothing about unlocking new abilities, i watched videos and you had to unlock these abilities, did they just recently change it or did they all somehow unlock?
