So Multitudes+Hexahedral Monolith from MysticsItems yields some...... interesting results. Especially when you end up with 60 Wax Quails from 20 challenge of the mountains. I'm scared to sprint now

the issue with direseeker is the buttons are static, but also a pain to reach. the eggs on sirens call are accessable by anyone, the buttons are not. if you are playing engie, captain, or anyone else with particularly low mobility you probably can't get them all. especially since one button is in the gated area so if its closed, and you can't reach the hole... it just isn't happening
You can basically always get the buttons no matter what
one is also on top of a pillar, and another just poking out of a wall.
yeah band unlock is a dev oversight for sure, but its too late to change it

Engie, Captain, and Loader are capable of unlocking the gates without friends or pots
especially for more tedious things like commando stage 20, no lunars. i don't want to endure that crap again, commando isn't fun

huntress stage 3 is easy in multiplayer, or if you loop constantly and just obliterate the map every second or so. otherwise its a pain
so, become god... or hide in a corner all atage
At least unlocking Ballista can be somewhat controlled.

For Ethereal, even with an easy trial it took a good 3 hours to grind it for me

fight an elder lemurian and imagine it has a big fireball attack
that shoots like 20 fireballs across the ground
regigiggas is kinda problematic honestly. i did a run with randos and it did the revolving door attack... and IMMEDIATELY spawned the alloy worship unit. between those 2, the 3 magma worms we had to summon as the boss, and all the monsters... it was a run killer. we passed the stage, but stage 5 wiped us
of course they INSISTED on running typhoon so that was part of the issue

if it was, i would have dipped. in total out of 27 games of diluvian difficulty i have played, 2 games were with players that knew how to play with it. and every other game was full of loot goblins, time wasters, and of course elitests.

when i want a dumb game, i just sit on stage one with sac/swarms as engie and turn the game into tower defense
not play a difficulty so far from the intended base experience that getting one stage of bad rng early can ruin your run permanently without really good rng later, if you make it that far
how does multiplayer work with mods?
do both players need the mod for it to work
some mods only the host need to have it, but you can't know that without testing every single mod
so it's better to just both players have the same mods
everyone should have the same mods and configs

All players involved need the exact same mods and configs as the host.
Certain mods can function client or host side only, but those are specified in the README files on their thunderstore pages

hiya, downloaded mods for the first time (starstorm2 to be exact)
every few seconds in game my screen goes white and stops responding, then after a few seconds it goes back to normal. but it happens again so many times and i want it to stop, have any of yall heard of this problem before??
New to modding? Sounds like a bug in the mod which means you have to uninstall everything and redownload it all. I’d start there.
I'd say start with restarting your computer
I finally fixed the issue but now whenever i leave the bazaar? (blue portal area) there is a chance of it causing a new window to pop up and freezing while the game itself goes black forcing me to close and restart.. i’d say i went there 5-6 times total and i got the issue 2 times

Two questions, is there any popular balanced item mods that I've missed?
More important question, any item in particular I need to worry about in this list that I should probably disable for balance reasons? I've already disabled the diary that grants xp over time and the lunar item "Heart of the Void" that literally revives you over and over and over again.
Oooh another question, the items that have to do with granting armor, are they balanced enough? They seemed fine but granting armor isn't really a thing in vanilla so the game might not be built for that.

When I tested it, it seemed to just revive me if one of the ads just died in the explosion. I'd just run away and I'd be fine
items to disable imo:
dormant fungus (op as fuck)
coffee bag (a little too strong, not really unique)
nkotas (weird item, going to be reworked)
blood soaked shield (op with the amount of other shields you get)
tome of bloodletting (not really a balance issue but I think green chocolate does this effect more interestingly)
plague hat and plague mask are insanely snowbally and may cause balance issues, but you may want to test more yourself
I don't use tinkers satchel anymore due to some bugs with mimic and I don't really care for the rest of the content too much
in terms of armor: I would recommend moving items like monster tooth and medkit to green tier and leeching seed to white tier
% healing becomes really strong with the amount of health and defense you get from these mods
also I think salvaged wires could probably disabled, I don't think it fits a unique enough niche either and there's plenty of other shield items with all those mods

and in terms of void heart I don't think it's op because it will only revive you so many times before it actually gets you killed and it's complete shit against mithrix

the revive has a CD, the radius is small enough, and the windup is long enough that enemies will usually walk out

Cloudburst is a bit lacking in polish right now, and feels as if it was rushed out. Some of the items are fine, others don't seem that great, imo.

Well the info you provided has helped immensely! I prefer the auto play items so I'll keep that in the item pool but the other stuff really helped. I've disabled the items you've mentioned and moved the % healing to green (which is where it probably should be in vanilla anyways).

okay @short pendant i finally got back home and checked the other items i had feedback for, and heres all my current suggestions:
change donut to 10+5 (25% feels preeetty strong imo)
thought processor to 10+5
gunpowder to 200+150 damage, radius stacking is fine imo
scratch ticket to 30+20
and lastly, i feel that treasure map might fit better as a green with a number buff
obviously these are all just my opinions after a couple days of playing and you dont gotta listen to any of it lol
also would love to hear opinions from other folks who have played with the mod

Most errors aren't a problem, I see hundreds of errors usually but no actual problems
As for storms, that's an SS2 feature
you cant just remove errors you can check the log to see what is causing them

There's a mechanic in the game called directors, which dictate what spawns, such as enemies and intractables
Directors have a limited set of "credits" which are expended for different things

Higher difficulty means higher amounts of credits the directors get to use, meaning potentially more chests, shrines, enemies, etc.

i dont know which mod the primary fire comes from but it seems to be only with that primary fire. when u hold primary fire down and then pres and hold the glaive key it sends them out instantly

Yo, does anyone know a fix to this one particular issue?:
Whenever my friend starts a lobby with 130+ mods (bear in mind, I have the same mods as he does), I get kicked out and it tells me that my mods differ from the server's mods, and it shows blanks for incompatible mods and differing mods.

I don't think its a localization issue, because we've been able to play mods with less than 50 mods together, but the issue seems to occur when there are more than 80+ installed.

Nemesis Bandit is probably going to be added in Starstorm 2, assuming Moffein or someone else doesn't get around to it
it just a really easy way to relable bandit, i don't think orignial m2 would be anything else but a wacky gimmick, so you already have a great char to fulfill a role
We're going to do Nemesis Bandit given he's added to Vanilla, yeah. We could talk to Moffein about using parts of their Bandit... Not a bad idea, actually.

In the Starstorm mod for Risk of Rain 1, Nemesis Bandit can use a lasso to ride enemies
It's a really fun mechanic. Hopefully possible in Risk of Rain 2.

Anyways I shortened my mod list down a bit by removing ones that I don't really use.
Mystic Items + RoRCheats didn't let those two items work properly for me. 
Not sure, I need to test with all of my default mods again but I did test them all with DebugToolKit and it was working, so hopefully it works now.

the random survivors mod is amazing, flying around maps as an emergency drone called 'Terrible Idiot' whose abilities are an inaccurate laser, five rex flowers that seem to catapult enemies across the map, like twenty mines that all spawn at once in a cluster, and the alloy worship unit's super launchy upward attack is incredible
I could only find ror cheats by lodington, so I used that, but I couldn't find the scepter through the item spawning menu or through command from spawning another red

Supply Drops in MysticItems don't seem to have their items randomized for different Supply Drops, so you end up getting the same items from all of them. My friend got Red Scrap from all of them so. 😩
