The cooler thing about this Sniper is that, with just a few tweaks, his RoR1 kit translated pretty well into RoR2
i think the main tweak is aoe from the drone, helped me a lot
and he shoots pretty fast, hordes of wisps were never a problem
Yeah, primary firing speed is a doozy for a sniper rifle
The fast firing speed is a benefit since it allows you to reach reload state faster
and also his utility being omnidirectional and long helps out a lot, great char overall
but i think sniper team and rein should come to some conclusion in naming their chars lul

Rein's Sniper has generally more overall versatility and probably damage output, but lacks the classic feel, while Sniper Team did a perfect job of recreating the classic RoR1 sniper, while maintaining a good all-rounder character
i enjoy them both a lot, variety of rein's and agility of classic one makes them pretty unique to each other, i'm definitely keeping both mods

i usually do this set of actions > throw flare into highest threat - invis - kill some low threat lads, finish with rack em up - flare into boss/high threat - invis

I've tried flares. I love the acid grenades too much, even though they're weaker.
The delay on the flares exploding always confuses me because I'm used to immediately effects of attacks.
I mainly use default dynamite since I like shooting it

The gun is probably modeled based off of the same gun, but looking at both the Halo Sniper Rifle and the mods Sniper Rifle it def has differences.

For me, I'll probs keep both Sniper mods around. Classic Sniper has the classic feel (and kit translated surprisingly well over to RoR2 with a few tweaks), while Rein's Sniper mod has a lot of versatility

the only real issue is the dev time and workflow, the annoyance you'd get from desync bug reports is probably less than the annoyance of people constantly complaining about no config

the reason classic sniper’s reload doesn’t get faster from attack speed is because it’s already pretty fast, people playing the earlier versions said it was kinda nuts

it started mostly as criticism about the model (which I think was mostly fair until it was beaten into the ground) but like when rein would defend the mod and drags model it turned into more hostility against rein himself

Typhoon is the harder Monsoon, so the original Starstorm implemented "Grand Mastery"
Grand Mastery is obtained from beating the game as that character on Typhoon
paladin mod has compatability with the ss2 mod, so if you beat that difficulty with paladin you get a new skin for it

whenever I play with mods, this divine beam of light from the sky always ends up killing me. If I go anywhere near that, it begins to target me and there's a weird purple texture/effect all around the impact. it instant kills me. this appears sooner or later whenever i play with mods. anyone had this happen or know why?

I use FMJ ammo on Sniper with single shot if that makes a difference
this is really difficult to do, because the beam of light that kills me seems to appear at random times.....so in order to do what you're saying, I would have to disable 1 mod, play 4 -5 stages, disable 1 mod, play 4-5 stages again, etc

comfyqol makes you drop a random item from your inventory when you die
you can turn that off in the config

Got Starstorm 2 and Cloudburst running together, same with Classic Items (with Scepter disabled because all the modded characters I have that supported Scepter from it already shifted to the standalone, or just didn't have support to begin with) and Chen's Classic Items, to point it's kinda a Vanilla+ feel overall.
Question: It feels like Executioner's M2 is slightly homing ( just shot in the middle of a wisp cloud ( using swarm so lotsa wisps ), like shot inbetween all of em ( aimed at a space between them, not at them directly ), and they got hit. Is that true?

Executioner is part of Starstorm 2, though, which DOES have a similarly "hidden" unlock.

if you want the other nem, the nemforcer it's from the Enforcer mod
he comes as a hidden character, not even showing up in the character selection screen until you unlock him

if you mean profile code, its what allows people to share the mods they have (basically modpacks)

modpack codes are basically directions for the manager on what mods to download
go to settings > profile > export profile as a code to generate a profile code

Classic sniper is very different from rein's sniper
Newt Altars or certain mods can guarantee portal spawns.
If you have the alt m2 just shoot them, default m2 try to line them up, or use the default special on them
If you have the standalone ancient scepter mod nemesis commando can wipe out an entire screen of enemies with decisive strike
Careful with where you aim it tho

there's Rob's Direseeker mod, which adds an Alloy Worship Unit style elder lemurian to the Abyssal Depths
And I believe Artifact of the King changes up the mithrix fight, though I haven't tried it out yet to see how
Roguewisp adds ancientwisp as an overloading worm tier boss (on monsoon or higher)
there's also Cloudburst, but the alt fight doesn't seem to be really balanced or fun
and also it seems bugged or has a rare chance of happening
- Cloudburst has a bunch of problems since it's incomplete

Go Monsoon with Enforcer, finish void fields, and then find him as a tele boss or regular enemy
as Enforcer on monsoon, loop once, do void and on the last cell nemforcer spawns
