was playing MUL-T with 5 cobalt shields and a bungus and mithrix couldn't kill me

theyre meant to stay useful in longer runs, so they have to have a lot of armor. unfortunately theres not much i can do about stacking in earlygame while also keeping them as a viable fungus option for later
so if you want to print out all your greens for cobalt shields to have the most boring run possible, then go for it

i would highly recommend r2modman anyways since it has a lot of good features, including a "launch in vanilla" button, but if you dont have it then you can just go to your ror2 install folder and rename winhttp.dll to something else

Not compatible. skills++ actually prevents most of snipers skills from even working in the first place. Sniper runs the disable concmd on load in order to get around that.

Yeah, its a pain. Even if it did work though, I prioritize spending my time improving the mod itself, once i'm really happy with it I can look at branching out to add interactions with other mods.

Its a weird playstyle that takes a while to get a feel for, but in general it works out.

Something to note, different enemies are worth more. The stronger an enemy is the more juice it gives. Elites are a bonus on top of that. Enemies are divided up into like 8 tiers.

Wispy uses every bit of the 32 bit skin index to store the settings. (there are a few bits open for padding/future features tho) and every combination of bits represents a valid skin. This means that I can flip all of them to create doppelganger skin.

There are like 2 bits that I don't change just because of how those ones work.
Wispy doppelganger is also the single best source of charge in the game

Best bet is to turn off half of your mods and play, if it still happens then the issue is with one of the half turned on, so you turn half those off and repeat until you can single it out

I had a really weird idea for a ruleset/artifacts for Risk of Rain 2;
Artifact of Sacrifice is almost always on, but equipment barrels still spawn. The only items that drop are Item Scraps, and the spawnrate of 3d printers by 1.5 times.

Okay, Rein updated Sniper's alt primary damage and oh lordie is it good
For whatever reason I loaded up the new sniper skin and my framerate became almost unplayable, switch to commando, butter smooth. No idea whats going on.

basically its got both sniper models loaded but the original one is invisible
so its gonna have a performance hit

i should probably test it on a clean profile, or should i just go along with my 50+ other mods?
if you have the log then might as well send it
cause if its throwing an error then itll help way more with narrowing it down than testing every individual combination
no error, fps just slid from half of what it should be to 3fps in about 4 minutes

Definitely send log please. the perf hit is for all sniper skins and I actually made it effectively zero.
Ideally test just sniper because I do know some other mods sorta don't clean up after themselves too well and this does sound like one of those cases.

r2modman says i have no mods installed but i do. is it because i installed it after i installed those mods? if so, how can r2modman know that i have them without me having to download them again?
You can instal mods using modman itself without dragging them into files

@agile chasm r2modman doesn't auto-detect your mods because:
- It doesn't know any info about the mod
- Mods are stored in a different folder than the standard one
So when you download a mod through r2modman, there's extra information that gets stored like the author name and icon

No mod order doesn't exist at all. In r2modman the ordering is purely visual for your own organization.
Like fallout, if two mods change the same thing in differing ways, you need to order them or else the lower one will not work (okay)

Multiple mods can change the same areas. Conflicts only ever come up when either the actual changes made just don't make sense when combined, or one of the developers is lazy.
