If the logoutput ends up fine could also just be a corrupt enough game install and that's usually fixed with verifying game files

There is no official feature for buffs descriptions, so a mod will also have to write base and modded buff descriptions or hope for others

I had an idea for a boss mod where the teleporter events and the final bosses could be made harder after looping once or twice cause usually after the first and second loops all the enemies are an afterthought and blow up instantly. What if teleporter and final boss fights applied a -1 or 2 to the luck stat to reduce proc chains? Also it might be fun to add other modifiers like boss fight enemies have higher stats. One of the main ones that might be cool is to have boss phases where when you get the boss to a certain amount of health they become invincible for 10 sec or something and their attack speed increases. That way the boss doesn't just get instantly deleted. I'm saying all this because I've never modded before and I'm not sure how I would make that

This is quite late but are you actually trying to launch the SERVER or the game cause if you just anted to play rror2 modded and not run a server then make sure on the mod manager when you're selecting a game that you actually have the game button selected and not the server
if you use debugtoolkit, you can spawn an invincible enemy that won't attack you and treat it like a test dummy

How do you get the early supporter unlock for the hunk mod? I've done the Konami code, and the weapon was still locked

The Konami code was supposed to be the backup option for folks that weren't around early early with the mod, but that unlock method has never quite worked right. Rob is aware, just not a priority - use RealerCheatUnlocks if you desperately want that one.
This is because of the cursed way rob gets around the game only supporting one jump animation because he likes doing multiple contextual animations, from sprint, backwards, etc. The game doesn't actually register them as jumps. Again, Rob is aware, afaik this one's slightly higher priority since there's several of his survs that it affects.

Im doing some eclipse runs currently and I have a few good ideas for what im looking for mod wise, but what im looking for on a general scale is QOL mods like texture packs, or UI add ons, simple recolors or stage edits that are improvements to the original stage design looks wise, simple stuff like that. gonna post here because I'm technically using mods, does it feel like the stone flux pauldron is slowing down way more than intended?
attempting to play multiplayer with multiple mods, and encountering issues that are specific to whoever isn't the host
those issues being that skills don't work sometimes, the teleporter instantly starts and cannot be interacted with (no boss spawns however, not even for the one who isn't the host), enemy ai breaks pretty harshly, cutscenes cause you (the one who isn't the host) to be eternally stuck even if respawned, and enemy animations are bugged for the non-host

LookingGlass is a good one. Shows you what the items do in full when you hover over them. Even goes so far as to show proc coefficient, proc chance for some items, and so on

But the only problem I have with lookingGlass is that while it is open source so mod authors can link in the stack effects for when you say have like… an item like bandolier, to show chance of going off of the whole stack. No other mod author has actually hooked into it yet for that purpose.

Yes! It’s a character. It has a Vergil alt skin, you can swap primary between ebony & ivory, blue rose, and Vergil’s swords. Devil arms are collected from bosses and you unlock them to bring in one at the start of a run after you get it for the first time. Devil trigger is there, and we even have combo meter.

The loading screen/begining cutscene gets stuck on 99 and I can’t fix it
I use R2modmqn to begin with. I was downloading some new mods when it starts getting stuck. I disable and then uninstall all the new mods, still gets stuck, tries vanilla, works, make a new profile and add mods slowly, don’t matter, still gets stuck. And it’s not frozen, unresponsive, or crashed cause I can see the sprite animating. I tried verifying file integrity (steam) still stuck, uninstall and reinstall, stuck. I’m at a lost of what to do

stuck in the escape pod when using a scout character mod, doesnt replace any characters and gets fixed on the next stage start upon teleport, which i require other players for. this also isnt a permanent solution

There wont be any. What riskofwaiting does is now a vanilla feature so it's on individual mods to setup in a way that allows things to load faster. The alternative is don't download more mods than you're comfortable waiting on the game to load
is there a mod that can fix this? only solutions i could think of are disabling a couple expansion mods but i wanna keep them on or using the better command mod and just make the limit for each item tier the limit of the command page so it doesnt overflow but just hoped theres a way to shrink it or add pages to the ui so i can still just have all items at once

That is meant for a future public mod update. Currently the feature is only used by us for the events we hold. Also the public mod I believe isn't updated for the most recent patch but I'll ask the team about that

imo dropitem is phenomenal for multiplayer because it makes the looting process nicer for a duo since you can drag to the other player's inventory and say "take this item I just grabbed i dont want it and i accidentally walked on it when i meant to wait for you"

I was just trying to do research for a friend who likes to stream, and he didn't want to stream with mods enabled cuz he was afraid of his account being banned or his youtube being demonitzed or something. I couldn't find anything online saying that would happen for risk of rain 2. Checked here for the last stop, and now I conclude that no such thing would happen. maybe it would with some other game, but not ror2
If you are streaming mods you arent going to get in trouble with the streaming platform unless said mods contain content that already breaks the EULA

There are no mechanisms inside risk of rain 2 that could ever lead to any kind of ban from the game. On a streaming platform that could happen if you decided it'd be funny to have not safe for work/various hate speech group stuff like a certain windmill but that's not exclusive to ror2

when were the dlcs released? cuz i think this mod was giving me some problems; every stage i went to beyond stage 1 it was always aphelian sanctuary or one of the stage 2 stages, and distant roost music was always playing even in the hidden realms. i think this mod was made for base game without anything
