the depot is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_632360\depot_632361, if the game gets updated then you can just copy and paste the depot back into the risk of rain 2 folder after you update.

Mainly cause TMM has a weird way of generating it's codes that make r2mm not understand it internally
if it's too late to do control-z then just get the RealerCheatUnlocks and right click all of the things you had unlocked, it's the only thing you really can do at that point.

just send your profile to your friends so you all have the same mods and then you all should be able to play modded multiplayer together as long as everyone is on the same version.
As long as everyone is playing on the same version of the game then it's your typical MP rules

gearbox rewrote a bunch of code and it made everything become tied to your fps.
Forgive me but I had another question about downpatching and modding. Is it possible to do multiplayer at all with this version and with mods? I assume they need to downpatch as well, but I understand if there's like a conflict when playing an older version.
any alternative to scrollable ui mod that actually allows me to scroll the ui or just be able to select my extra characters
it's fine! ask as many questions as you want! multiplayer works without mods on a downpatched version so it probably works with mods as well if everyone has the same mod versions.

if you don't know how to send your mod profile to your friends to all have the same mod versions: go into your profile, go to "settings", go to the "profile" tab, and click "export profile as code", and then your friends can import the profile with the code.

I recently had an instance where a void implosion that hadn't detonated yet disappeared, and the only two things I can think of was it was culled by occlusion culling or VFX culling.
I want to verify the cause of this before making a bug report. I don't believe void implosions should ever be hidden, considering they are instant death.

warped echo applies 25% incoming damage to bleed in this mod which is cool
Growth Nectar being a void for Death Mark makes no real sense since void items are meant to retain the same category as the original (Damage/Healing/Utility)

Personally I would make War Bonds just a green tier item being 25 +25 per stack.
Alternative to Antler Shield is just making it like Tough Times from RoR1, giving an amount of armour and maybe moving it to green tier.
Warped Echo has some interesting synergies with stuff like Medkit, although with the fact it being tied to FPS currently breaks that rn.

You very likely have post seekers update versions of those dependencies. The mod manager chain downloads the latest version if you don't have it in the list yet which means you need to actually check and downgrade each and every one

The dev for the mod is in the modding discord (Found in pinned messages here) can likely send your Logoutput tothat channels techsupport with an @ to them witha detailed description of what's going on, They're pretty quick at fixing things

they just use the code, launch the game and it gets stuck
Quadpuple check everything. a single mod, usually api stuff from everyone else that claimed the same, may be for seekers
I'd have to see a log in that case cause my advise is the same for everyone else in these trying times, disable half mods repeatedly to narrow down the problem mod

That's something atleast. So when you say not boot does that console show up for even just a couple seconds
On the mod manager: settings > locations > browse profile folder > bepinex folder > logoutput.txt

i like the StormTweaks mod but giving chef up to 3 hatchets at once should have been compensated by reducing the damage of the move

Just check the versions that were uplaoded on the website and go for ones that are prior to the dlc release date
You can either click the install button right there on the website for the specific version or grab them on the mod manager as it prompts you for what version you want (though doesn't show dates there)

It's a very simple issues tbf. The mod manager always chain downloads the latest version of a mod if a version of that mods not already present in the mod list. Once you have the correct version you want you just refrain from clicking update all and it'll be fine

I deleted my game and reinstalled it and that fixed it idk if it will for you I also deleted the saved data from the mod manager in files if you do that you might want to back up ur profile .

There should be a ui button on the top left that's hopefully self explanatory enough to spawn stuff in with. I never personally used it though and prefer just using the console with debugtoolkit
I also tried debugtoolkit but maybe i forgot to do something because "give_equip" wasn't working for me

@karmic impok, but I've heard talk of Gearbox changing the codebase of the game, which cause some modders to quit. makes me think things will be harder to fix than usual, if they ever get fixced at all.

I do think some of the pickup text could be adjusted a bit in the mod though, like very few of them.
I personally like having the text tell me a bit more information (like the 3 second delay on Warped Echo, or 5 kills for Expansion)
war bonds also works really weirdly, the logbook implies that it should give you 75 but thats just not really true for some reason? if you start on stage 1 and have war bonds via rebirth it only gives you $51 i know this is explained somewhere in one of woolies videos

I think the overall idea of Knockback Fin just needs a complete rework, Knockback is incredibly not valuable and is more punishing for all of the melee characters, especially a knockup effect.

It is just a shame that all the amazing visuals, music, and such is brought down by poor balancing, decisions, and bugs.
If I knew how to mod, I would make War Bond into a green tier item and make it just 25 Gold + 25 per stack.
Still not exactly super good but better than being an incredibly underwhelming red tier item.
Alternative make it like Smart Shopper but on steriods, but I think would be a little too close to Ghor's Tome at that point, so I think the Gold on stage entering would make it more unique.
Like as an effect it can work, money boost on a stage is nice for earlier in runs… but it's in the completely wrong item tier.
Heard some ideas, such as making it slam enemies back down onto the ground, boosting damage against enemies in the air, making it into void Stun Grenade…

Mods work fine as long as you make sure they're for the correct game version
Any that updated to seekers will also need to be downgraded to the last pre-seekers build they released

On thunderstore every mod page has a versions tab. So long as you remember that seekers came out on the 27th you can figure out what isn't a seekers build from there

if you launch the game through steam directly does it launch the vanilla downpatch version?
that’s why, your mod manager is going to the steam launch location by default. So you either need to replace your steam files with the downpatch files, or point your mod manager specifically to the downpatch folder you have
Probably easier to just copy and paste the downpatch files into the existing steam game folder so you don’t have to point all the mod stuff to new directories

Copy them from the downpatch folder and paste them into the steam game folder, then when prompted say “replace files in this destination”
You could also just have the two game folders sitting next to each other and rename the folder of the one you want to play "Risk of Rain 2"

Any idea how to launch the game with mods via Thunderstore without updating the game? (I am pre Devotion update). Froze downloads via steam by setting appmanifest to read only, but trying to launch game via thunderstore causes game to automatically start updating.
does nayone know a mod to fix the director?
You might need to update then just down patch. If you make a copy of your current game folder then paste it back into the folder once steam updates the game then it’ll revert you back to whatever patch you’re on
and if you do it that way you can use the mod manager like normal too

Just of course also make sure all your mods are compatible with whatever game version you’re on
idk if it was a mod (I only have QoL mods) or the base game, but my current stage has NOTHING, not even the teleporter
I had that happen to me a while back too but I still don’t know what caused it lol

i'm not sure if this is an issue with a mod i'm using but for some reason mul-t's cluster bomb just breaks enemy ai
you stun them once and they stay in place forever
game logic changed almost entirely keep that in mind
the vast majority of mods are not functioning right rn
unless a mod is updated you shouldnt expect it to function properly

i think you can just install SOTSfixer, storm tweaks and fixSotsV2 and uninstall the mods you don't want (one of them has twisted elite remover)
Are there any mods that make it possible to select modded difficulties?
