Closest lead is Nemesis Rising Tides magnetic elites being the first noticeable error breaking near the end of the log. From what I remember though Nem Rising Tides has been a fair bit unstable for awhile and it's unlikely it's getting updated anytime soon if ever

I was confused and then I was askin "wheres phase 4, did I break something or mod conflict?" and scrambled, went to test with umbral and debugtoolkit only, still no phase 4.. And then I looked at the umbral updates, and phase 4 was removed 🧐
is anybody having a glitch where loading into the game as War Tank, you hit E and it removes the UI and inputs dont work?
it also seems to be happening to Chef, and I havent checked every survivor. I think this might be a mod conflict, checking my other mods atm

@sharp flax @lament axle @solar cairn @ebon rover I figured out what was causing some survivors to load incorrectly, disabling UI and disallowing you to control the character (including Tank Mod).
The brand new mod "Give It Back" by Homppo seems to be the cause. I do not know what specifically is occuring, but removing it fixes the issue.
heya did this end up fixing your issue? im getting HELLA tilted at ror2 right now because EVERY SINGLE RUN ends to some random massive lag spike followed by like a billion damage to an unknown source, but i do have nemesis rising tides in my modpack...
my last 5 clips have all just been random damage sources applying more than once, its actually like. unbearable at this point i cant take this anymore
oh yeah, yes it did work! you'll probably also notice a lot less enemy spam, that was another problem i forgot to mention that nemtides seemed to cause

its probably 2 mods clashing with one another resulting in you spawning in as commando

most mods were most likely programmed to register key inputs of keyboards, as it isn't as simple as "when pressed jump" etc, it's when pressed,
let's say, if (F or LeftShoulder = true) {do action}; showing that they would be seperate
most developers for a computer only mod base would most likely, at least for some things, not add controller support. The only one I can think of that would always need it is character/skill mods.
development apps like unity all have separate keybinds for every single key on a keyboard and presses on a controller, you would have to specify both

On the mod manager : settings > locations > browse profile folder > bepinex
Excluding libraries, id say start disabling from the bottom of the list in chunks of 10, then when it finally loads correctly, you start enabling each individual mod from the last 10-chunk (or go in groups of 2 or 3) until the issue arises again. Delete the problem child, re-enable everything, test again on all your survivors

Hi, I’m trying to play modded RoR2 with my friend online but we are unable to both load in to the actual game. We are however able to join each other’s lobby, but when selecting a character it bugged out the ready up system. Does anyone know how to fix this/ do it properly?

As heads up for anyone, ClassicItemsReturns is not compatible with Driver in MP. Dunno about SP but confirmed it's no compatible as it floods the log about CIR.
It duns fine in docker just using wine, it would be completely fine with proton but the server is out of date
Not the answer anyone wants to hear but MP issues always come down to 1 of 2 ways to fix it.
The first is make sure everyones mod profiles are actually the same by having everyone use the same profile code export including the exporter themselves also importing as a new profile.
If that doesn't work then congratulations you now have the tedious pleasure of disabling mods until you find the mod that isn't networked correctly for MP that kills everything else.

its a nemesis enforcer skin, you need to go into the config and enable the cursed option or something though ,,

As for unlocking nemesis enforcer, is the character supposed to not show up on the character select screen? Like, ik i have to beat monsoon and all that stuff but usually there's a blacked out sillhouete with a note of the prerequisites for unlocking them. That does not appear for nemforcer.

Bit late since went to bed moment but that shouldn't really be an issue as far as ingame is concerned and may just be a notepad++ or whatever thing since all of this cane be editted in real time in game as well via the risk of options part. As for line breaks I'm not sure. That could legit just be a unity UI moment

hello regarding the inferno difficulty mod, the survival skin for merc doesn't seem to want to unlock for me despite beating the game twice now on inferno difficulty

so something ended up broken, and I'm not sure what can be causing this
about a minute into the run, various sounds, visual effects and animations kinda just start disappearing, like enemy hp bars, damage numbers, wisp death animations, item pick up sound and text pop up, and more

As far as optimisation no. the only one that actually does anything is Holydll and that comes with so many downsides due to how it has to sledgehammer the performance killers into being multi-threaded that it basically becomes unstable in modded and multiplayer scenarios
It's even somewhat unstable solo too but the more modded the list is the more likely it'll just randomly crash for effectively no reason which is a massive shame cause the performance improvements are extremely noticeable

Hey guys! I really love taking cinematic shots in this game, but the PhotoMode mod im using (the one made by Dragonyck) is "just" you being able to fly around in freecam. Does anyone know if there's a photomode mod that has Zooming and/or other camera features?
I mean I'm kinda getting at the fact that not having zoom doesn't really allow you to change the "focal length" of the lens so if you go up close you get a pretty distorted view and not the shot you have in mind

there is Artifact of Metamorphosis that indeed change your character every stage. but I look for a more frequent change

I only installed that and the respawn mod, and now players can only carry one void item. (the old gets replaced)

Guys in starstorm 2 when it says "a storm is approaching" does only the vision get foggy or are some cool enemies supposed to spawn too?
In my cause it just gets very foggy for some time and then clears which is kinda boring 😔
Their is one pretty good mod for aritificer specifically that gives her a ton of new skills

Granted 1 hour+ sounds like somethings going very wrong unless it actually is still making it to the main menu. The game loads like shit since dlc1 but it's not THAT bad unless you're legit running on a server storage style hdd which I don't even know if any modern pc would even have those without you intentionally trying to buy them lol

Only really two out there LookingGlass or ImprovedUI. They mostly do the same things just a bit differently in certain cases. If you wanted to use RiskUI though (A visual overhaul of the UI) then your choice is locked in with LookingGlass as that supports it wheras ImprovedUI does not

EAsier to post the whole text file rather than copy pasting whatever it lets you for discord and if you need to find the actual file then on the mod manager go to settings > locations > browse profile location > open bepinex folder> drag the LogOutput.txt into discord
Sometimes the mod manager just hangs and closing the mod manager itself "just works"

You can just change out the difficulty settings to your liking, I never use base eclipse because I like maxing everything but ai changes and new attacks because they lag my game but you can also tune stuff down

heya, recently-ish (last few weeks or so?) a few of my mods that previously worked in vanilla lobbies have since stopped working, the game pulls an error screen on joining saying "these mods are incompatible with the lobby", ive tried backdating these mods because they used to work but it hasnt changed anything? is there something im missing? mods in question are:

the dreamcatcher from spireitems has never worked for me, but has also never broken chest items, and mysticsitems has always been completely fine

As far as long load times go that can happen though 30 minutes is abit wild even accounting for hdds and sotvs change to addressables noticeably increasing load times in general.
The whole blue screening part is kind of a bigger cause for concern and a part me wants to say that might be an early sign of failing hardware either on the part of the storage drive if it's an HDD or a RAM stick starting to go.

In my own experience back in the day I'd be minding my own buisness playing games before just randomly bluescreen as well. Eventually i just ripped a ram stick out at random to see if the system became stable again. it did
As it turned out I had a failing ram stick
I had over 290 mods installed but soon as I figured it was taking somewhere 89% of ram
And it's requirements was about 15-14 GB of ram
i just ask cuz it not working rn
Strange also reminded me I forgot to ask about hifus captain tweak specifically not working with the m1. I'd ask in this case if the mods loading and if it is is it erroring when it tries to load and if not does it work when throwing intoa profile with just itself
If it does end up working on it's own then it's funny mod conflict moment
Does anyone know how to fix LookingGlass not updating what your current damage is? For almost all survivors it stays at 12 and in some rare cases it works fine only on certain modded survivors.

From what I remember at some point it broke in lookingglass and may have been put down as baseDamage instead of just damage which is a simple enough change to make.

The main issue I have is with the drop items mod.
It's currently too easy to cheese the 3d printers, and soups in multiplayer.
Just trade your

soup, get back the bungus. Without some sort of mechanical penalty, or wall, there is nothing preventing this. It's too tempting as a player to want to avoid doing it.
I have a couple of ideas, but I don't know what would be best.
- Block crafting: If you drop an item, you can no longer print, or make soup until you leave the stage.
- Disable item: Track what type of item has been dropped by each player. They can no longer benefit from that item for the rest of this stage, or the next.
Also, you shouldn't be able to gift your items when you're dead.

It'll work for everyone, where any member can type /drop, however only people with the mod will be able to click to drop. It's like limited client side, where it's still functioned but better to use normally

i have encountered a small issue , everytime i play modded the game removes any progress i had on the mods.
Like it removes any achivement/unlock i had unlocked and leaves me with what i had before (only exeption is skins)
Unfortunately this an errorless issue and basically requires manually disabling mods and doing something that you'd notice is saved to figure out which mod(s) are causing the profile saves to fail

A more direct answer is to install debugtoolkit then use the console command list_body that'll print out every character bodies Number ID, Internal Name and Display Name to the console

You could use a mod like RealerCheatUnlocks to force unlock the logbook displays for the items but any attached to achievements would then also be completed in that case if you tried unlocking them too

Only cases I see of this happening is when using starstorm 2 with videogame mod 2 and Lost in Transit with Classicitems / ClassicItemsReturns which would have a fair few overlap on adding mostly the came concepts

by default he cant really reach voidling, and sniper vs voidling is just asking to get hit with shit
you can parry his projectiles but he shoots out so fuckin many
most of his damage comes from like, using hypermatrix and getting in close
but if voidling hovers outside of the range of everything you do, you just kinda have to pray you can climb on him

Has anyone been lagging on multi lately?
I'd like to elaborate on what some people said - SOME mods that don't actually change anything will work if only you have it, and only for you, like skins, UI, textures, etc. Other mods that override but don't add stuff will work if the HOST has it, like ExchangeChanges, ShrineOfDios, and DropItem. Mods that ADD content will never work unless EVERYBODY has the mod. SOME mods actually just don't work in multiplayer at all, like Fathomless Voidling, but mods like that will most likely say that in the description

Should i start a new save when playing with mods ? I have 2 device a PC and a Laptop, if I play with mods on my main save files in my pc will it break anything when I play it on my laptop.
I install the mods on my pc and not my laptop

im assuming new dlc is going to break mods, is there any easy way to to keep a separate installation via steam.
You can keep an extra install if you have the foresight to back up your game files first and then look up where it's steam manifest file is and wipe it's version/set to read only so steam can't tel it needs updating but it's abit on the awkward side
Ofcourse when it comes to troubleshooting mods it'll be entirely on you at that point as mod authors wont be supporting older versions
i hope people will make the mods not break with the dlc before the end of the year
so i've been using instancedloot and it kinda prevents non-hosts from opening chests (i.e. legendary chest) i think it's setting the PreferredInstanceMode to EVERYTHING, i was wondering if there's a way to prevent this from happening without changing PreferredInstanceMode

Legacy is an empty mod for the purposes of the mod manager being able to one click download all of r2apis parts
Basically you don't have to care if you're using a mod manager and if you arn't please use a mod manager
