I seem to have a totally unrelated problem, which is r2modman not launching ror2 even with no mods enabled

the "start vanilla" button works but not the "start modded" button

So to summarize I had to uninstall outofboundsitem (not just disable it) to let my game actually launch

Is there a mod that makes infestors that are dropped from voidtouched allies always spawn an allied infestor that will turn the next enemy it infects into an ally

For some reason even if a void infestor is on your team the moment it infects an enemy it switches to the same team as the enemy

Unsure if you've fixed it yet but bepinex instant crashing when trying to load is due to having duplicate fixplugins patchers in the profiles folder. Easy fix is to just reimport your profile into a new one and it should just work

Sometimes the order interferes, uninstall inferno and reinstall it to move it to the bottom, hopefully making it appear last

If that doesn’t work, try the same tactic but with whatever mod typhoon is from (hopefully not losing any progress)

Actually, you might be able to move the order without uninstalling stuff

Just try reversing the order

It’s likely your configs would be messed up if you uninstalled and reinstalled that, and other stuff breaking is also possible due to how weird mods can be sometimes
I personally wouldn’t risk it if the only thing I gained was swapping the positions of 2 difficulties

One time my game crashed on startup, but instead of immediately leaving to see the problem, I waited and it stopped bugging
If patience (virtue) doesn’t help, then you at least got one thing to check off of your checklist

If that doesn’t work, then try looking for 2 mods that have features which conflict, instead of blindly turning things on and off, as that takes too long

With starstorm 2, you can actually go into the in-game settings, and the “proper” configs are there, they’re much more detailed and useful than the ones in thunderstore configs place

I had confusion about that at the start too, but some mods just have their configs in-game

There'll probably be others but the vast majority just works so long as you don't have duplicate fixplugins patchers hidding inside the profiles mod folder and there's 2 ways to check that ingame if the game isn't instantly crashing on trying to load modded: Fogbound lagoon has no loot and enemies and at the very least ss2 characters don't have item displays.

The fix is also stupid simple. Just export your profile and reimport as a new one

No it's more it gets rid of left over files from mods that changed names,locations

Notably some people still had bepinex pack 1.0 when we're on 1.11 cause at some point it was renamed and it has niche ways to break mod lists when that happens since they both try to load.

Fixplugins is similar. The duplicate was fine till devotion happened but if it's there the game tries loading it first and if you're apart of the 99% of people that instant crashed due to it rather than being able to load in game it was very noticeable

Character doesn't dictate which nem spawns first. If Nem merc is just outright refusing to spawn however later stages after beating nem mando then that's a different issue that so far one other persons had but we've not figured out the reason for it

Though just for my own clarification. You are spawning the nems via having the condemned bond from void fields right? There's been a non-zero amount of people that have also been using video game mod 2 which uses an older invasion spawn and getting confused why nemmerc doesn't spawn

Honestly feel HAN-D might be a bit underpowered. The primary/secondary could stand to fire off a bit faster, and the secondary/utility cooldowns are a little longer than I'd like for what you get out of them.

• Squad Rehaul, Squads instead start off with Max Members then Respawn after a certain delay (Both are Configurable and will display in the Skill Descriptions). As well they Inherit Items in realtime (Configurable as well, if the user thinks it's too OP).
• Stationary Teleportation, has two charges now which should allow some form of flexibility and early game maneuverability

Alright so a couple things to try then.
First: go to settings > debugging > toggle cache off and then redownload bepinex, you don't need to uninstall it first just redownload it. That'll confirm if it's a bricked bepinex install or not

Second: if that isn't working check settings > locations > change risk of rain 2 directory and confirm that is actually where your game is currently installed. To do so on the steam client right click ror2 > properties > installed files > browse and then click into the folders file path address bar and see if both that path and the one the mod manager claims ror2 is currently in are exactly the same.

fogbound lagoon is broken with the newest patch and i tried deleting it but now the game doesnt launch without it, is there something i need to delete from the game's files too for it to launch again?

Issue was the patcher went from standalone to included with bepinex back to standalone and it never got cleared up when it went back to standalone so it's still left behind. This was fine since SotV lasted for like 2 years so it never broke anything

So anyone with older mod profiles that went from that kind of transition with it being included and then standaloned again run into this but it really is a simple fix thankfully
