there's a mod i want to use that needs this (https://thunderstore.io/package/tristanmcpherson/R2API/), does it really need every single every single other mod in that list to function?
potentially dumb question I know, im just a little surprised if thats the case since it seems like that many things would just be in a single package to grab
Often times no but if you use a mod manager then it's a none issue cause it'll jsut download what you need of it anyway
I've just downloaded things raw thus far and placed them in their folders
And it used to be a single pack but it was split up for ease of maintainability by the r2api devs. Instead of potentially having to wait to fix a bunch of things and then compiling the whole thing just just to fix one bit they've split it so they only need to touch the actual part they want to change or fix
I would HIGHLY recommend a mod manager
r2modman is pinned alongside bepinex and r2api for a good reason. It makes things far easier

Passive - Your attacks apply Volatile. At 10 stacks, enemies explode, taking 250% damage and dealing 250% damage to every enemy within 10m. All stacks are removed upon detonation.
Primary - M1897 "Dragon's Breath" - 6x50% damage. Pellets have a 50% chance to apply one stack of Volatile.
Secondary - Slamfire - Hold the trigger of your shotgun, rapidly slam-firing the magazine. Gain one charge every 6 (scaling parabolically with attack speed) seconds, up to a maximum of 6 (+2 per stack of Backup Magazines). Deplete all charges in rapid succession, scaling with attack speed. 8x100% damage, 75% chance to apply a stack of Volatile.
Utility - M18 Smoke Grenade - Stunning. Launch a cloud of obfuscating smoke. Applies a 5 second stun to any hostile inside of it. (CD: 8 seconds)

I have a lil issue, im playing 100x multitudes (basically tricking the game that im playing with 100 other poeple making it hard for me), and when i kill the teleporter boss with some shrines of mountain, a shit ton items drop (it lags). I have an auto item pickup mod, but that mod only pickups items which are on the ground. So when around 1000 item are doing the drop animation or whatever, my game goes like literally 2fps. BUT there was a mod which fixed it, it did something that the teleporter gave came in wawes. resulting in no lag. What's that mod name?

Yup. it's what leads to various questions/bug reports with starstorm2 stuff being disabled cause certain modpacks come with a contentdisalber config that turns most of it off lol

yes, you just need to know the internal name of whatever you're trying to disable. but usually it's better to see if you can disable it from the respective mod's config first

uhhh there used to be a sticky grenade mod but it died
the best you can get is commandotweaks, makes the explosion range bigger, and you can config it to be even bigger
not a physics fix but it makes it easier to use

if you have problems with it, try running it with the launch argument --no-sandbox bc it used to just crash on boot for me but with the argument it works just fine

And they're both Vanilla compatible, meaning normal players can join you providing you don't run other mods too
I use it all the time when helping people unlock new characters and abilities

You can use one or the other if you want
Aerolt actually has a GUI for doing things in game, whereas DebugToolkit is done solely with commands. However, DebugToolkit allows keybinds, which can be configured in the config in R2modman, or in game with the dt_bind command

try TooManyFriends if you haven't already
you could also try using console commands to make the size bigger

CHAOS KING
Powerfull,destructive,and stylish
He has 1500 starting hp
He is both ranged and melee
And can switch weapons by activating his ability
His abilities are..
Primary fire: chaos trident
Swing and thrust a trident into your enemies that causes bleeding at the end of a combo
Secondary fire: Royal piercer
Jump high into the air and throw 2 chaos tridents at your enemies that also cause bleeding
Ultility: chaos warp
teleport away or into danger and stun enemies that get too close to the warp area
Offensive: final blow
Instantly kill any enemy and steal his soul (restores full hp after succesfully killing an enemy(also restores the health of all alies nearby))(does not work on bosses)
Special:chaos swap
Activating your gear changes your weapon
Primary fire 2: comet strike
Shoot a burst of energy orbs into the enemies
Secondary fire 2: chaos blast
Unleash a powerfull beam of death into your enemies
Ultility:CHAOS CONTROL
Shoot a masive bubble that when on impact will completely stop enemies on their tracks
Offensive: soulblast
(Requires full soul charge)
Use the soul of your fallen allies and enemies to charge up an energy bomb that destroys anything on it's blast radius

If I'm being honest tho, boss pool could use variety, along with different length to apply onto difficulty or to replace the difficulty modifier all together

I did alot of play/bugtesting for it and gave some ideas along with having the original concept to make the mod

Okay, so like, it's very boring how predictable it is, the set series of bosses makes it lose its magic. So I'd suggest a randomization of bosses for the spawn pool. As for the length, I'd say get rid of the choosing of difficulty scaling and have it permanently set to monsoon, with that make the minimum fights five, but make an additional shrine to add more fights, then once you're done, just ignore the shrine and start the fight(which will be mithrix).
If none of this makes sense then I'll re-explain

guys. How the Sniper's Spotter cooldown works on ROR2? It never enters on a cooldown or doesn't show on the countdown, I guess.
On RoR2 spotter is a good AOE crowd control.

kill the enemy to get it back
and then you have to wait recharge
so after you kill a spotted enemy it starts cooldown i think

No. You spot an enemy, charge the steady aim and then fire, if it is spotted it release a shockwave damage on enemies around too. but I didn't noticed any cooldown or delayed I can just swap to other enemy.

Is starstorm 2 broken in multiplayer right now? me and my friend are trying to play together, we've messed with some other mods and they arent causing issues, and the only one I think it could be is starstorm

this was my friend's perspective from the lobby. I was playing as nemando, he couldnt see his character. this happened across all gamemodes, and when attempting to start the game, he was locked on a black screen with no audio
we tried with him hosting as well, I got a similar screen when joining. menu was very messed up, and I was locked onto black screen upon run start
What's the modlist? This is typically caused by either one or more mods that weren't networked for multiplayer (Of which SS2 was constantly tested in MP leading up to the recent big release), a desync in config settings between players if someone changed something and another didn't, or the dark horse, for whatever reason a mod just didn't download correctly
all of these were active (except RiskofRuina, that stayed off) and we've tried turning them off but they dont work. the rest of the mods are just client side stuff like skins and have never affected gameplay
also, no desync in configs, we used the profile code thing to make sure they were same
None really speak to me as stuff that should be breaking
I guess keep turning stuff off in batches to try and narrow it down and then when you do only run that mod to see if it's a mod incompat or the mod itself causing the problem

Chef mod seems to not be working either and caused a disconnect, saying we didnt have the same version, when we both did
friend was prompted with the error that he needed Chef mod v 2.2.0 when he had 2.2.8, though i also had 2.2.8
Possibly an older version left behind that was being overwrote initially before things got disabled and turned back on. You could both go to settings > debugging > toggle download cache off then delete the mod and redownload it and that should just work
Sometimes the mod manager get's fucked when alot of stuff is enabled/disabled in quick succession and it doesn't do one or the other

For the purposes of discord search given anyone actually bothers to use it. Nemesis Commando ( Nemmando / nem mando ) is unlocked in the current version of Starstorm 2 ( ss2 / ss 2 ) by looping in game till he spawns. Higher difficulties will spawn him sooner.
go to the void then leave, wait until nemesis commando invades your run and tries to kill you then kill him
That's the old method / Video Game mod 2s method. Current SS2 has no other condition other than loop till he shows

but starstorm alone adds a very substantial amount
but ror2 you add like, 25 items and cracks start to show
Starstorm 2 is just like 5% of the content of the real starstorm for RoR1 ported to RoR2, it is super nice but it does not add TOO much stuff to change that much from vanilla like the starstorm did in one... In other words starstorm is like a new RoR game in terms of quantity of content, starstorm 2 is more like a DLC with some of that content port...

hello! is there any mod or something that allows you to custom craft a run. so maybe you could do a silly run where every stage is a golem family event, or you choose what printers have, and then your friends could do that same run?

try going to settings > profile > export as a code, then
profile > change profile, this will throw you into profile selection screen, then click import > from code, name it differently and this time it should download the dependency mods correctly

it's so weird, i kinda load in, it's not utilizing my whole pc, just crash.
Risk of rain 2 memory usage increases overtime so it's the lowest when loading in
with less mods loaded you could possibly even play but crash minutes later
memory usage is fine, cpu spikes up, goes down, kinda load in. Then crash.
The problem of too many mods at the same time is that it gets inefficient even if they're individually small
So you prolly want to find a working number of mods and then slowly raise it
then minmax the size of the modpack by testing each mod or something so it becomes stable and can be playable by others aswell
Otherwise it's just gonna be torture

RealerCheatUnlocks lets you unlock and lock things as you want
yeah I disabled the scrapper and printer changes and buffed runald up to 100% total dmg + 1000% base dmg per stack
with the faster scaling and more enemy spawns, scrapping and printing is a lot harder and takes precious time, and runalds just gets outscaled like crazy

Debugtoolkit is one of them.
You need to find non-client sided mods that are "networked" in order for them to be multi-player compatible.
So if you happen to see a mod (like items, skills, new characters) make sure they are networked. Usually the developer will mention if their mod is networked or not.
