it's mostly because his skills are very much Not Made For Players

they just have a lot of jank built-in movement that's designed for his bossfight
makes him very very awkward to actually play

things tweaked and tuned to be not jank and playable but still feel like mithrix
the hammer slam without the jank movement, the leap could be much smaller and the aoe could be much shorter
really surprised noone has tackled this yet, makes me wanna pick up modding
this would require the same amount of work as making a character from scratch since these would more or less need to be brand new skills
this is probably why nobody has done this sort of thing yet

again youre taking mithrixs attacks at face value without reconsidering the concept of adapting him as a playable character, which implies change to what we already know
the windup is fine, is it slightly slow? speed it up. is the area small? increase it
the thing is i think if you actually end up going through all this effort and redesign mithrix from the ground up to be a survivor, you're probably just going to end up with Paladin 2

The biggest hurdle to Typhoons monster cap is when your runs not going so hot and you can't keep on pace with the killing
And ofcourse if you arn't counting it for non-typhoon the storms add their own funny extra difficulty at times but if you're runn SS2 with other difficulties then it's more or less the same

Storms are mid run difficulty spikes/increases. Typhoon will always have them but other difficulties wont if you don't have ss2 installed so that can distort the difficulty a little bit

Probably deluge due to enemy cooldowns
Typhoons only an issue if you're slow at killing but if you're clearing waves as they come then you wont really notice the increased cap

Hello! Does anyone have any experience with running R2Modman through Linux? I am using the r2mod_cli to run my mods since R2Modman command doesn't work due to Steam removing a call to tell R2modman to not run the game as a native Linux-based game.

If you're both actually using the same mods then one of you has corrupted mod downloads. using r2modman
go to settings > debugging > toggle download cache off
Then settings : profile > export as code
Then reimport the code as a new profile
Both/all of you should do the toggle cache and import parts but only one needs to make the code

using wirehack wrench it gives me the item but the printer still seems usable like there is a prompt and everything but if you use it the printer just devourers the item 😼
default special is more fun to play but alt is more flashy and is extremely cool

shes like rex strong (like dumbdazed said) tho imo like maybe some small nerfs but otherwise is fine

i ran into that issue then proceeded to angerly rewrite the main system and now it works with the in-game volume slider (the only edge case is mithrix, which notably avoids the music system due to the phases, voidling doesn't use this technique though so i only had to write a special case for mithrix)

For Multitudes (I'm trying to increse difficulty by increasing number of enemies in game), I put in mod_wb_set_multiplier 1 at the start of the game or even in the pre game lobby, but when I get in I have like 16 or so wisps and way too many enemies spawning in on me in earlier levels. Am I doing something wrong in terms of configuring it?
I have both multitudes as well as multitudes but without price scaling, since I'd like to be paid for more kills and buy more stuff on the map.

For merc, I’d recommend the ranged loadout and going for Visions, and same deal with Acrid
Stage 1 is kinda the deciding factor of your run, so just keeping distance whenever possible is a good idea

just go in that and go to the console tab, and then search ERROR, and find anything that has a bucnh of errors and get rid of the thing making those errors
