Hey my friend is having trouble using r2modman, he has the most recent version but everytime he loads it it tells him to select a game but shows no options. hes already reinstalled it and tried getting rid of any firewalls or antivirus's but nothing seems to work. he also restarted his computer in case the problem was that simple

Been getting crashes earlier and earlier across my runs and I'm having trouble identifying the source of the problem. Despite removing some mods and reducing my graphics settings the problems only seem to get worse with each attempt. I'd previously reached stage 5 with more mods and higher settings, and now with minimal settings and fewer mods (besides addition of stutter reduction) I can't even get past stage 1.

But as Bread mentioned. Try out HolyDLL. It moves the calculations that choke the game to a more multithreaded approach which can in most cases extend how long a run can last before it falls apart anyway though it is a sledgehammer approach so it could have issues with certain mods though if you ever run into them it's best to report them since the mod dev tends to try and fix those
