Do Sigma Constructs actually appear on Fogbound Lagoon with Spikestrip 2.0 enabled? Latest patchnotes for Spike Strip says they added support for them to spawn there but I haven't seen them even in far game runs.

does anyone know what mod(s) cause things to stop despawning? I get icons (like enemy debuffs) stuck on screen, as well as the huntress boomerang and lesser wisps after they are killed just float around. edit: and UI reticles, and items dropped on the ground, and pretty much everything. edit edit: and the teleporter doesn't work, so I just get soft locked.

I just tried disabling ScannerPlusOne, Starstorm2, and More items, and the problem didn't seem to happen, but my game did crash as soon as I activated the first teleporter
I'm going to guess that it's HolyDLL + ScannerPlusOne and try disabling just those two

the more content mods you have the more likely it is for holydll to cause issues since it breaks any mod that directly hooks recalcstats iirc

AV_effect_options lets you turn off alot of item visuals
which are the main source of lag if you loop
You've like 3 main things you can do
Close the Bepinex Gui when running modded, It can take up resources better spent on ror2 itself
AV Effect options for disabling graphics effects which can maybe help if you're gpu bound somehow
ANd last HolyDLL for the sledgehammer approach. Plays badly with some mods but it's your best shot

What do you find your self stacking when running an ice or electric dominant build?
I ran all fire status effects and obviously the ignition tank was just too good, but i can’t think of good item synergies with ice/lightning route
exactly the same as fire status but you need a shit ton of gas instead
you get the bonus AOE but it's annoying
I like energetic resonance, laser bolts, nano bomb, rolling thunder, ion surge
but you can swap bolts for snowballs and it's pretty good
could also swap thunder for temperature drop

To add you can cheat the item in but it's hilariously broken that having it in your inventory causes an infinite item bug that tanks your framerate when picking stuff up 😛

nemesis commando doesn't even point forward to shot his gun, he barely flicks his wrist.

All damage items work on poison...why would it not
Poison goes off of a % of enemy max health if that number is higher than base damage (it usually always is), so its difficult to find out if it really has any purpose because you cant really measure it
wdym it's hard to measure, you're literally in the modding channel
also, i know crowbar, focus crystal and ap rounds boost the damage during healthcomponent.takedamage, poisons damage is calculated before that
i.e. these items work on it
also, you can even just calculate an enemy's current max hp using the enemy level at the top left
also wait, no it isn't, base damage is almost always higher than % damage except on high health enemies like elite elder lems or special scaling bosses like mithrix
charlie made an entire spreadsheet detailing that
watch increases it as well
on the same topic, armor actually decreases it which is why beetle queens and other bosses take 120s max to kill
though usually your base damage is higher anyways
Well when I stack watches it def affects the damage

they activate when you use the teleporter, they give affects like you get 500 armor or the brainstalks effect, but there are some that debuff enemies by giving them crippled or an 80% slow
these only apply IN the teleporter radius

it says it if you ping it i think, but you can tell which one it is by color/ the symbol thats inside of it

r2modman where you just click on mods and then another button and then it installs
which also allows you to switch between vanilla and modded pretty nicely
depends on scaling that you set for inferno
default should be lower than typhoon
peoples aversion to getting R2modman is so weird to me
makes playing with mods 10x easier

especially considering it just took me 2 hours to even activate his sprint animation and visual effects while hovering

i dont know how hard it would be but you should make it so that the engies shotguns can overheat and add an m2 that shoots out a fire damaging aoe to vent the heat and if you dont use the m2 before the m1 fully charges it goes on cooldown for like 5 seconds
i kinda did that with mult's flamethrower
does it use the system for railgunners overheat or does it just set it on a cooldown
it just sets you on fire if you keep using it

What's nice about the recent update for Fogbound Lagoon is that it also made it so you can put Moffein's enemies into the stage, although putting in Clay Men removes Imps even if you don't use the Remove Imp config for some reason.

alright, cause i feel like his m2 goes very underutilized due to the fact that in later game theres so many projectiles, i feel like maybe a short range shotgun or something else would be a great alternative
its used alot more if you're using alt shift
also synergizes better with alt m1
and you can use it to immediately rocket jump off nothing
i use the shovel and homing missiles, and even with the missiles i never have the chance to use it cause i can barely tell how close it is to enemies cause of how much is going on during boss fights

it was so much fun to propel yourself with, you can do it with rockets but you only have 4 shots, plus the grenade shot you flying
the replacement C4 still propels but you cant do it quick enough
a lot of people didn't like it (including the mod maker) so it was changed
i loved it it was a good utility
id be fine with the C4 if it didnt completely replace it
and was just made into a new move
you'll probably be fine anyway

hello again everyone. I've been slowly getting rid of mods that I haven't used in a while, and once I uninstalled Inferno the game refuses to load. it just gets stuck at 100% and freezes.
does anyone have a solution? do I need to reinstall Inferno and just ignore it in the menu?

BetterUI got a bugged update in-between me closing and reopening the game, and disabling that causes the game to load normally

When spawning on the first stage, the camera is below the ground and i cant do anything. Anyone know what causes it or how to fix it?

I want to be able to play as Thomas the train. M1 is called Feed The Fire, it increases Thomas' movement speed by 5% per click, stores up to 20 charges, charges regen at a rate of 1/2 seconds. M2 is called Unstoppable Force (yes im ripping it whatever) Thomas charges at an enemy dealing X(*500% current movespeed) damage. If Thomas kills an enemy with this attack, he heals 25% of his max HP every 5 seconds for 10 seconds. His shift would be called All Aboard, and a passive ability. Allies can board Thomas at any time when in a radius of 5m. When boarding Thomas they become invulnerable, and heal at a rate of 10% max HP every 0.5 seconds. Boarding Thomas costs 300(+200/ level) gold per entry. His R (this one is a meme cause I can't figure out what would be good) is called Friends of Sodor. Thomas calls upon his train friends from the island of Sodor who rain down face first from the sky and explode upon impact, dealing X+1045%(Thomas's current movespeed). The doom eternal music plays when this happens. The trains rain down in a 50m radius, each individual explosion has a radius of 5m. There are 15 trains in total.

Yeah whatever you think is best. Originally I was going to make it a plume of toxic spores that damage enemies over time and enemies kill explode in a smaller radius spreading the poison to other enemies.

I don't exactly understand why, and wouldn't that also mess up future runs if I didn't do extra work to un-no tier them? What would be the interaction of mid run changing an item from no tier and back? Wouldn't that also not work because they have defined language files, so I'd need to delete and re-add the language descriptors on the fly? And I also just don't understand why you need this.
And my mod actively incorporates Risk of Options as a dependency so you can edit the settings in game.
I suppose I should also ping you, my mod (GiGaGonsItemBlacklister) (https://thunderstore.io/package/GiGaGon/GiGaGonsItemBlacklister/) was designed so that it should work with modded items, and lets you change what items you've blacklisted in game or even mid run.
I'll be honest I didn't know about the mid run thing bc I like to configure everything beforehand
and the why is simply because I hate to see a logbook with a bunch of items that I've removed from the game and I'll never get
I mean if you don't like the stats of the (vanilla) items there is always HIFU's ultimate custom run, and if it's just having black spaces in the log there is always the unlock everything mod. To be frank, it just seems like way too much work and potential bugs for something very few people will see or even care about, since aside from unlocking items via unlock everything after like 1000 hours I never look at my logbook any more.

Okay i nailed it down. There must have been a syntax error in the downloaded file.
