I play RoR2 exclusively on PS4, at least a few times per week. Here is a list of network bugs I encounter on a regular basis.

The game can interfere with PSN services on older routers, making it impossible to view Friends, connect to a server, or send Party messages (but somehow doesn’t interfere with video streaming or active Party chat).
A host (including you) disconnecting from the game can disable network services, requiring router/PS4 restarts (up to 6 restarts apiece in one extreme case).
Games can disconnect without explanation, although one confirmed reason would be a new device connecting to the network. The only way back in is by using an invite from someone still in the session.

I’ve never had these issues with any other game, but somehow RoR2 completely disables my PSN services on a regular basis.

It's really annoying. I originally bought the game on pc and fell in love. Now I play with my girlfriend very frequently but she doesn't have a pc so we got the game on xbox. It's still fun and we enjoy ourselves but it's frustrating to not be up to date with content and have so many bugs and broken items. Also, captain has been my main since he released but I've gotten so frustrated with his stuff not working properly that I think I'm gonna have to start using other characters

Just opening RoR2 broke my PSN services last night. I finally got it to work. Only took 30+ connection tests, 2 restarts, a power cycle, renewing my IP, resetting my DNS twice, and 6 sign in attempts.
