what i hate, and i mean hate is when people then still play on monsoon like its a challenge with artifacts. If one uses artifacts, they can just aswell play drizzle
no difference
if you play monsoon with artifacts honestly you just fool yourself into thinking you know the game

No cap, the only artifact i feel is cool is Swarm, thats it honestly, artifacts is fun but however they take the challenge out the game, & i love this game bc you not gone have a good run every game

I think there are artifacts that are okay, swarms is double-edged but not easy mode. Death and Dissonance are interesting too, but things like sacrifice, prestige, command are just baby mode
command self explanatory
sacrifice just camp until you got what you want and prestige is a win the second a good green drops or you find a decent printer

I think that people tend to forget that
and i quote
Artifacts are game modifiers that can dramatically change the way the game is played.
Its not
the way the game is intended to be played

Tbh there is a little trick i like to do, works every time and about 7 out of 10 randoms just accept it and dont quit.
If you get a own lobby (so it says 1/4 in lobby) and the lobby gets ppl and is about to start, you can just switch to eclipse in the last 5 seconds. Then your team is in eclipse and they cant activate artifacts

or if youre annoyed asf like me sometimes from them you just activate the chaos artifact, take arti and kill them until they quit and see how fun artifacts are.
I mean they cooould vote against it but hey good thing yes and no means yes

If you go into solo you can tap the artifacts until they are disabled then that carries over to multiplayer, so they will have a one over them and be faded out and unless the other person is host or you get out voted they stay disabled

But you do have to redo it each time you load the game

These are game modifiers you can unlock that drastically alter the run and - in my opinion atleast - ruin its core aspects

for example there is one where you can just choose what items you get, so basically a guaranteed win
or one where enemies now drop items and there are no more chests, giving you the option to just stay on the first stage until you are stacked as hell

ngl there are some that are fun sometimes, but the most used ones by players just make the game a cakewalk
