Operator is definitely a unique class. He's underwhelming by himself, but that's where drones come in. His m2 is pretty much his bread and butter. Granted, you can still use m1 for on-hit items, but his m2 is where he shines. Not half bad mobility as well, it does take some skill to use as you have to aim where you're gonna jump to for a drone. ...

Drifter is about the same in this game as she was in returns. Broken as hell. Granted the temp items being the same duration as returns was a bit of a disappointment, but sub dupe is op on her. She can be vulernable in melee range, but her m2 and just the amount of items you have more than compensates for this weakness.

Someone in a comment section was trying to disprove something I know as actual fact, because I had seen it with my own eyes. So out of spite I made a video to prove that I'm right and they're wrong and they should feel bad StoneTitanLaser
In all seriousness, False Son's secondary gains stacks as he increases "growth," those of you who play him would know this. When these stacks come off cooldown, they each individually trigger eclipse lite, granting you barrier.
The uninformed youtube comment tried to disprove this by essentially saying "well actually Operator's secondary gains stacks when you pick up more drones and those don't trigger EL when they come off cooldown GlassCeption So your friend had to have picked up something else that was giving him barrier." Wow great reading comprehension there buddy, maybe next time you'll read the words False Son and understand that I was talking specifically about False Son.

Operator from the new DLC is a pretty good counter to Mithrix, I discovered this recently. When you have a bunch of drones, you can use his default utility and stay airborne for long periods of time. Mithrix doesn’t have many attacks that can hit airborne targets, although his big spiny, forbidden pizza attack can if your not high enough. He wasn’t designed with fighting survivors who are often airborne because the survivors that could often couldn’t get high enough during his fight. Operator can also attack while airborne, making him even more effective against Mithrix.

the solus units lost contact with their main computer(mother unit) and created a temporary replacement(solus wing) for until they could reconnect to the original mother unit. the glass(probably soul) on petrichor V is weird and started making the solus units think outside the bounds of their programming, most notibly giving solus wing a sense of self-preservation, leading it to begin researching how to establish a new collective and thus become the "primary" mother unit instead of being temporary. some of the other solus units on petrichor V are unenthusiastic about joining this new collective since free will and whatever is nice or something. SPEX(big solus eyeball of the computational exchange) determines that a champion is necessary to oppose the collective and grants revelation to an alloy vulture via a bowl of soup, setting them on their path to kill the solus wing as the alloy hunter. the survivor(s) meander over to the surface stronghold of the collective(conduit canyon) where the only teleporter that leads to the depths where the solus wing resides and is attacked by the alloy hunter who came here intentionally to use it. survivor(s) kill the alloy hunter(becoming the champion in the process), use the teleporter, kill solus wing, snag the encrypted cerebrum, and use the mainline portal to reach the computational exchange where SPEX resides. SPEX the solus seer has somehow determined that the wandering chef has the necessary skills to decrypt the encrypted cerebellum and had them set up shop in the computational exchange. the exposed cerebellum is made and given to SPEX who uses it to open a portal to the neural sanctum for the champion(s) to kill the hell out of the mind of the collective. once subdued, the solus heart does his offer of immortality via the solus network(SPEX says its a lie and the network can only support 1 unique mind) and either the champion takes it or finishes the task given by SPEX and kills the collective

Eclipse 8 run I did with Merc’s default loadout (showcasing how to make the most out of whirlwind with blinding assault for dash cancel and perma stunlocks) for those who want to improve their game with Merc’s base kit.

While focused assault and slicing winds are very good, his base kit has its unique techs and synergies and its good enough to clear all eclipse levels. Plus if ur aiming for the ethereal challenge youre probably watching Cabbage, who always uses default loadout in all his vids so its worth learning and integrating for that purpose alone.
