nope it’s just wrong, I don’t think it ever counted as a stage if it was stage 1

only if it’s s2

void fields should also be mentioned in there with the dlc, that is a sure way to skip stage 2

if sky meadows is the first stage, going through it sends you to the ambry

if sky meadows is the second stage, going through it ends the trial

iirc going through it on stage one can softlock you if you arent fast enough

since time still ticks there during trials

also on this trial and about 1/4 of them, the boss in the ambry CAN get the overloading prefix, making them secretly regen 50% of their hp if you don’t get a key every 7 seconds

and also pretty sure even if you do complete the ambry, it counts the stage beforehand only, so you’d still have to do stage 2

Mainly because otherwise Railgunner would be the character winning 90-100% of trials

However it does sort of remove half the trial, but on the flip side hitting the newt alter requires a lot more thought into stage navigation

but at the same time I’d understand if they remove it lol

I think that if lunar coins couldn't be cheated, it would be a more meaningful strategy. I spent over 30 lunar coins on a trial not long ago chasing better times/getting killed. I felt each hit at the newt alter because I earned every one of those coins through combat instead of notepad. I love prismatic trials but I have the same feeling about the trials overall when I see sub-one minute times from Heretic or Rex.

A second scoring category for high score and and item diversity might solve the issue before it gets out of hand when trials eventually gets a prize pool. So that anyone who isn't playing loader or merc can still win something.

Since the trials are limited by the number of stages, a high score category and a scoring system that rewards killchains and combinations would still be viable since you'd need to not die to finish.

SW is a direct upgrade in damage (it takes eviscerate 6 syringes to match for single target, and 53 to match SW for the max amount of targets [8]), SW procs more expose, which lowers the cooldown of your dash and SW again, the dash allowing more i-frames and another SW getting more damage and expose.

This is not considering you can attack during SW

Also you can dodge most things with base movement speed
