First time I've actually tried a Prismatic Trial

My main problem is landing the DIABLO in the right location

Only a third of the time do I manage to actually hit the Grovetender with it

(For 8k)

I found a good S2 strategy (In my opinion) instead of a DIABLO jump, I drop a pylon on the crystal adjacent to the launchpad/campfire thing, refuel there and jump up. On a good run (I accidentally killed myself with DIABLO here) I would have ended up nearly 1:54 or so

It’s possible with red whip to not Diablo jump at all, b-lining for tp, pacing Diablo on the tall tree and using it to kill the lemurians. Idk about the efficiency of that though

Railgunner has an autoaim gimmick, but the gun actually rapidly fires and is just more damage and procs than Huntress's primaries (Which really isn't that high of a bar to reach)
Ballista was basically stuck on to the secondary, and then better ballista on the special
And Railgunner basically has the same mobility thanks to Concussion jumping

...honestly, this one might be doable. The idea with the missile turrets was a bad one. Crabs shoot at the turrets, which makes them less predictable.

Ok, so the tricks to this one, for anyone trying this on PC:

1. Don't activate drones on the first stage. They make the crabs less predictable.
2. During the first teleporter event, three crabs spawn on a big rock and the others spawn in the valley between that rock and where the teleporter is. First thing you want to do is chase the crabs off the rock and into the valley so they're grouped up and you can hit them with sawmarang and Blinding Assault.
3. You can actually afford to go pretty slowly when chasing crabs to avoid stepping in the fire trail.
4. You have time to use Eviscerate then Blinding Assault to get away before the invulnerability from Eviscerate wears off. You do not have time to Eviscerate then Whirlwind.
5. Do not dash back and forth through a group of crabs. It may be very tempting but you're dashing back into an area that's being bombarded. Move in wide circles instead.
6. During the stage two teleporter event, watch the ground. If a red circle nudges in from offscreen, it's about to be followed by a beetle.
7. Your Equipment sequence is Radar scan > Sawmerang > Spinel Tonic > Foreign Fruit > Super Massive Leech > Primordial Cube. I didn't check beyond there, honestly, because the Fruit and the Leech are useless and while the spinel tonic is fun, I think getting a tonic affliction might break the Ethereal requirement. It's possibly Royal Capacitor, I vaguely remember getting that on one run? Still, you don't want to wait through that entire sequence just for the chance of Royally Capaciting one crab.
8. The first item that drops is a Focus Crystal, which is actually pretty good! The second is a Fuel Cell, and the ones after that are useless health items.

Also I literally just realized the "hermit crab shells" pun. Because they shell you. With artillery.

I did the challenge second try on console... not too hard just use your i-frame attacks to deal damage to enemies... I activate my equipment right off when I spawn to have the saws against the crabs (there's 2 boss ones of them that group together along with others) then save the drugs for the beetles... always be moving on the frist stage to not get hit by the crabs and get up high on the circle ring next to the portal on the beetle stage until they group up and use your i-frame attacks... you could try stading on the portal spike itself and use your primary attack but it's very easy to fall off if you have even the slightest stick drift or even just from the movement of your attack

Smokebomb's cooldown is low, especially it's effective cooldown
Stay in it when on the move, and use LO to reset off of pots or mobs, depending on which one's easier to do without killing yourself

Vs your enemies, keep circle strafing and jumping to dodge attacks

Use Smokebomb as an extra 2 jumps if needed
