How are you coercing the mushrooms to attack each other? When i stand near them I just get ticked for fire damage

Try not to stand behind them, just in front or to the side. Aim for the one leading to the back path first and get the other Mushrooms to attack all at once, then move to the one near the edge. The last one is a bit of a pain as by that point other mushrooms spawn in and mess up the rhythm. At that point keep going in the circles jumping near them (but not over, they'll hit you).
If you hit the teleport at about 30 seconds, it's most manageable.

The fire tripped me up a few times as the assets disappear before the effects do.
I found the Lemurians in the second part kill each other with more success if you hit the teleport, run to the edge of the circle and face them while jumping to the side.

This was a pain in the ass, but actually fighting them is more of a pain. You tend to rest in position for a fraction of a second when attacking which is just what a newly spawned mushroom is waiting for.

yeah the mushrooms are quite hard to do. but if you focus on that, the second stage is soo much easier as once you do the teleporter, they all kill eachother within like 15 seconds
you just gotta keep jumping over the mushrooms you want to kill to lead whatever they shoot towards you

It will give you enough shields to just barely survive getting hit once by certain attacks
can survive a fireball in the second stage at level 2
and a single burn tick in the first stage
Makes it more forgiving
But still it's messing me up trying to do this ethereal

Actually wasn't that hard once I figured it out. Just grab a ton of topaz broaches, fuel cells, and The Back up. Run for the turret on the hill to your left as soon as you start.

Get the turret asap, and while it's killing get the other 2 drone beside it, it's a lot of aggro relief
2 brooches then a crowbar, there should also be an active spawn, get missiles
from there just hide and activate or go in when brooch barrier is high
It's a little tedious waiting but this is truly the easiest PT for Ethereal
