I think its cause its a score attack mode, so where ever you finish the trial it counts as completion and tallies your score

i'm playing with one of those language mods that has the start prismatic trial button just labeled "start hell" and honestly it's accurate
the first four items aren't even too good (stealth kit - need to take damage to use, gasoline - sure ig it helps burn things but, bandolier - the only really kinda good thing outta the bunch, but still kinda garbo, warbanner - might be good if you're willing to fight the vagrants within 5 feet of the teleporter and no further)

Use that and two squid polyps and the boss fight is over instantly, both stages

what i did was kept my recycler for first stage and get guillotine and rush crystals
in the bazaar get purity, shaped glass, corpsebloom, recycle the corpsebloom into a shaped glass

theres a topaz brooch in the purple chest behind the first crystal on stage 2. that makes it easier, theres also a backup mag in the cave on stage 1 and a bandolier somewhere near your spawn but you have to get it after guillotine/tp event.

Yo, the current trial is great for the merc achievement. Kill the beetles, pop in and out of the blue portal, and run through all the jellyfish. Don't take the normal tele you get shrooms instead. I used my money on the 3 turrets and missile drone (up top), to distract the jellyfish. The 4th equip in the rotation is a tonic, which can be used to outrun the jellys at the teleporter. Good luck. š

iāve only tried recycling the tri tip dagger on stage 1 (it gives a crowbar) so idk but try recycling the soldierās syringe and the stun grenade
syringe is in a 3D printer in the ship hole, while stun grenade is at that very top hill section above the entrance to the cave
thereās also a sticky bomb (I think itās a sticky bomb) 3D printer I havenāt tried recycling yet
so thatās up for possibility
this is all assuming youāre going for ethereal (which Iām assuming because topaz brooch lets you take damage without losing the achievement)

try singling out the boss beetles you need to kill, hit them with rising thunder, eviscerate, then a dash and it should kill them (you might have to add in some m1 swings or mark the boss beetle first) because the boss beetles will regenerate if you arenāt able to burst them down

But trust me, I've done many console trials, and unless you wanna wait until November you have to do this one. It's practically free
No blazing bosses, turret under the boss, four missile drones, boss even drops a boss item you can turn into a Little Disciple and get kills just for sprinting
Given the parameters I couldn't hand craft an easier trial
And really, if this one is too uphill I'm not sure fixing artifacts is going to help. Double beetle trials are very rare
