Prismatics is a great place to do crabs, I did it on both pc and switch
They cost a lot of credits, if you're not seeing them it's because you're moving too fast. Waste around 7-10 minutes on stage 1 before moving in to the next stage and you should see loads of them
You just need a trial with titanic plains as stage 2, because they can't spawn on stage 1, and they only appear in plains and abyssal depths

You can also waste those minutes on stage 2, but if you waste them on stage 1 you can get crabs as prespawns
After 10 minutes you should start seeing them in combat shrines
At that point you can activate the teleporter and get them as teleporter mobs as well

State 1 has two wood shrines right by the boss but you have to grind five white items before the first green drops
There's a newt statue near stage 2 boss you could buy of you're already gathering squid polyps, but I had to grind 10 minutes to get a green
But if you do healing drone can keep your squids alive, all you've gotta do is not get hit for 20 minutes, easy right?
Rusty key gives a white item if you get one key. Not sure I care to test more than one

@winter rock I assume you are new; take huntress with the alt util and special kit and default primary attack. Get to lvl 3 and rush the boss, spam the phase blink to not get hit, repeat for second stage
