If you go into the lunar shop that seems to turn the boss from blazing stone titan to blazing vagrant, which I'm not sure is preferable

There's a spinel tonic there, and you can command the other items to be glass, and that basically gets you stage 2 with no hits. The tricky part is really stage 1

So what I'm trying to pull of is

The trial places two turrets right at the teleporter

These will very quickly win the fight for you

After they do, just enter the portal, buy tonic and maybe a glass, win stage 2 pretty much by default

It's not foolproof, I'm still getting hit on stage 1

But maybe I'm just not hiding well enough

You also have to deal with the elder lemurian, he will kill your turrets if you don't take him out first

There's a turret where you start that you can use for that

Each attempt costs a lunar since you have to hit the shrine

It was all fine at the start for me, I could deal with the beetles just fine, alloy vultures are annoying, but yeah, elder lemurian is the main problem

You just activate the turret and lure the lemurian into its range

Once he's there eviscerate him.

The lemurian will fail to hit you and then die

The dangerous part is your own turret might hit you. It hasn't happened my last couple attempts but sometimes they take a shot at you for no reason

I absolutely will get the achievement this trial

- Immediately jump down to the lunar shrine below and pay ti
- Buy the turret nearby
- Go for the nearest visible crystal, destroy it, keep going
- When you pass the shipwreck an elder lemurian will spot you, make sure he
  does, bait his flame, dodge it, keep going
- Buy both turrets on the hill, or just one if you can only afford one
- Elder lemurian will go over to them. When he does, kill him. Play defensively.
- Kill the crystals in the cave.
- Activate teleporter, hide behind cover.
- Attack the vagrant. Eviscerate -> Spin -> Dash -> Dash -> Spin -> Dash -> Eviscerate
- Time double jump to land without fall damage
- Get to cover a bit
- Back in for the kill.
- Hide behind cover while turrets mop up.
- There is at least 1 white + 1 green, hopefully 1 white.
- Topaz brooz + Guillotine.
- Enter blue portal
- Buy 2 shaped glass + tonic. Leave.
- Farm a little bit of barrier on your way to the boss.
- Activate portal, get to high ground, take cover.
- When boss spawns and your cooldowns are done, activate spinel tonic,
  eviscarates, dash three times. Boss should be dead.
- Hit tele and GTFO.

It's a bit verbose, but hopefully should leave no confusion on how to approach it.

If you activate all three mountain shrines it'll spawn three blazing vagrants and two overloading ones

Just leave, and they'll kill each other

The overloading vagrants are in the rear, so one of those will be the survivors

And pretty hurt

You can use all the turrets from stage 1 and more turrets from stage 2 to cover you.

This is all theoretical, I haven't yet pulled it off with no damage

Stage 1 just use the two turrets. Stage 2 you can hide in the cave under the boss and wait for the teleporter to reach 99%

All the enemies will gather on the boss and die from fire damage, so you can emerge to fight him 1-on-1

Just run laps for cover between cooldowns and swoop in for eviscerate

Yeah. Activate the two turrets, use blinding assault to stun the elder lemurian until the turrets kill him.

The key to fighting elder lemurian is to keep in mind your dash stuns

I got hit like one time on stage 1. The cave is really foolproof, it'll take out every dangerous enemy on stage 2

The only dangerous thing left is getting caught in the titan laser or flubbing your dash and falling into the fire radius at the titan feet

Both easily avoided by just camping the hill above the titan and playing it very carefully

By picking guillotine you ensure you spend the least possible amount of time in phase 2

If you get a white i actually wouldn't recommend topaz as you won't fight enemies. Instead pick focus crystal or syringe

From another attempt I learned that you should not activate the turret. It causes titan to walk out in the open and he'll be harder to approach. I also learned that the stone thing he summons at half health will eventually go away.

I beat the stone titan without getting hit (console)

If you buy two missile drones on stage 1 and the gunner drone on stage 2,they'll basically kill the boss for you

Unfortunately they don't get to benefit from guillotine, you have to hop up and deal the killing blow personally, but getting in one eviscerate without taking a hit is pretty trivial

Now the only tricky thing is farming gold om stage 1

After you get the missile drones and the two turrets, the first boss is pretty trivial as well

This is definitely the winning strat. I'm sure I have this in the bag

The trick is basically to buy the two turrets, fight the elder lemurian with the help of those turrets , head back for the drone, then you've won because the drone will beat the challenge for you

You see me hop over the ship the lemurian hides in because he normally starts without aggro on you. A couple of things can randomly go out of alignment like the lemurian spotting you early or the turrets hitting you. You can minimize those by staying behind as much cover as possible and being aware of his position

i was thinking there's 2 monsters you could kill using ballista when you're killing crystals, a crystal you could destroy after using the tele to leave, the xp/money box near the tele

but i wouldn't be surprised if that's not enough for level 4

and the time loss on the aiming with ballista would make it slower anyway

I tested a bit, and you can get lv4 if you break either 2 extra crystals, or 1 extra crystal + kill one of [elite, brass contraption, 3 beetles] + 1 barrel on S1 and 2 brass contraptions + barrel on S2

You can tell by no sound, the way he aimlocks on to the item coming out of the tele, and the how he shoots all 3 ballista's in 1-3 frames however it works, but seeing this other than sound issues it wouldnt be hard to make a slowdown gameplay look legit
