the difficulty when you enter the 1st portal has an effect on what the enemy type on stage 2 is I think
So if you are very fast you get lemurians, slower you get probes

Slicing Winds is probably the hardest to earn thing in the game consistently (some Prismatic seeds may make it easy. The elite swarms of kin of wisp/solaris probes/other ranged hitscan enemies as of late seem to be determined to make this stupid though). Especially if the challenge doesn't have a Brooch.

There is a trick for the solub glob if you are slow (like me) or prefer to take your time: before going to the second stage take the rocket launcher drone. Wait for the rocket launcer to be just on top of you before jumping from the platform: the solub will target the drone and you can vase peacfully (~15 meters from the point where you drop).

vase + bfg + fuel cell can help if you want to beat the trial by going through the normal portal. If you go through the sky meadows bigbig portal you can skip the combat/crystals in sky meadows. Use the vase to cross from one side of sky meadow to the other quickly.

damn i should have mentioned this 24hrs ago but for people who are wondering how to deal with the solus probes, you can use the vase to teleport down to the first platform (the one normally through a hole that leads across a bridge to the artifact portal), except since the bridge below didn't spawn, you just wait for the vase to come back off cooldown, that's how i did mine even with the elite solus bois

2 solutions : clear the first stage with the pipe trick under 4 minutes to have lemurians at second stage, or take the rocket launcher drone at stage one : the rocket launcher drone will disturb the solub if one is too close. You can vase to tp while the drone "play".

If you play as loader you can demolish entire groups in one shot
And if you stack the will of the wisps on the first stage you’ll clear them out even more
Then you just quickly swing down to the artifact portal as soon as you get onto the second stage and it’s done

Just got it done in 3:38 for my flawless mercenary, on attempt 3, this was so much more peaceful and less rage/headache inducing than my struggle yesterday

I think I got as fast as I'll be able to get, I don't understand what you guys are doing to get your high speed big damage punches from standing still that helps you traverse faster as well
