Finally completed ethereal. Since I'm a scrub with Merc I used preon on Greater Wisps and waited it out for the Titan(I waited where there is a turret in the tunnel near the teleporter). Cleared in 3:48 so I only got 1 step of difficulty increase(as I saw other people telling not to wait because of difficulty increase).

Prismatic trials are 2 stage speedruns, each stage has 5 "time crystals" that you need to destroy 3 of per stage before you can activate the teleporter. It's all about routing the fastest path to kill 3 crystals and activate the tele, as well as picking up a useful equipment or item to kill the teleporter boss faster. Unlike the base game you can activate the teleporter to leave immediately after the boss dies.

if you shot it from tele you may have gotten unlucky and a spark started the timer early, try standing closer to where they spawn.
actually just spawn them and walk right up in to their faces and shoot since the timer for the challenge doesnt start until they take their first tick of damage

you need the lucky stun where the greater wisps fly into a wall and die. after that it should be no problem. cant stay still for too long since smaller wisps get hits in so easily

Worst thing when I was going for this was completing it only to find I got five points of damage I never noticed getting, most likely a light tap from a wisp somewhere.

Preon once again nukes both bosses, and the strategy Cabbage uses of standing on ths teleporter's spike in s1 to group the imps together makes it hard to really do poorly

yeah preon looks like it nukes them both, its an overloading titan and not a blazing one so shouldn't be crazy hard. I still dont get the titans floating rocks shooting animation so id hold preon charge to nuke from ~50% left

if you go fast you will sometimes get 1 wisp spawn at the shrine of luck and 3-4 at teleporter if you're slow which you can just dash through / kill with preon trail

shields add on or effect your max HP the challenge is "dont fall below 100% hp"

I managed chunked achievement after 7 or so tries as Artificer, but not on the wisp boss. The spot where people get the cube for nearby damage, I took the ? and got a crowbar for better damage against healthy enemies, that helped me one shot the titan c:

I feel like Prismatic Trials should have categories for each survivor rather than an overall one, if it doesn't already have one. Would encourage the players who already do Prismatic Trials to strive for fast times on every survivor or at least the ones they prefer rather than just doing it on the one that does it the fastest, which is I believe REX(?).

At the start you could see the leaderboard and scroll through, then all the cheating jackasses started setting their names as malicious links and promoting their twitches etc so they locked the leaderboard

Yup Fuck this challenge i give up, random seed, auto locking minions all for an ability that is trash is stupid. games great but this is dumb content on dev. part though, dont make a challenge that requires a random seed to be correct to even have a chance that the challenge can be done. maybe on pc its possible but on ps4 its just stupid. definitely takes away from the quality of this game for me. Prismatic trails are fun but spending 8 hours+ of theory crafting and memorization just to be basically screwed either way by certain mobs is ridiculous

I used normal s2, but I played around with it a bit and I think blue portal s2 is just as fast or slightly faster with a perfect geyser jump
also turning your LoD distance to the lowest settings makes the trees invisible so its a lot easier to aim at the 2nd crystal, their hitboxs still exist though

HoM wasnt always so awful. idk what they changed but in Prismatic Trials #22 the first stage boss was a horde of many, but it was a single low hp blazing brass contraption. Now days it'd be 5 of them
they broke something a long time ago (probably sirens update) and are missing it or can't be bothered
