Helps a lot in my experience

And you're missing the preon for most of one of the boss fights for which you choose to use it on, so having the bonus dmg is really useful

I think the pattern is fist, laser, summon, fist, then something. With Preon the golem is gone by that point

Firing preon right as you activate the teleporter is crucial, it damages the beetle queen a ridiculous amount

Not entirely sure if it's a bug or not though

Also traitor is 100% right with the fastest possible time involving that lunar pod incase people haven't been paying attention
